Using the 1118 drawings for Ohio Rolling Cash5(5/39) from 10/04/04 to 03/14/08, I divided the 39 numbers into 3 groups as follows A=1-13, B=14-26 and C=27-39. The possible combinations AAAAA to CCCCC = 3^5 or 243. When I converted all the drawings to the A B C format, there were only 20 of the combinations used.

1. A A B C C =164

2. A B B C C =153

3. A A B B C =132

4. A B B B C =102

5. A A A B C =101

6. A B C C C = 95

7. B B B C C = 52

8. A A A B B = 51

9. B B C C C

I tried placing all 39 numbers in the order of their last hit.

Using your Fri and Mon. numbers was a better mix then Wed and Mon.

Your idea of dividing the lotto numbers 1 - 39 into three groups intrigued me at first. I did some work with it. I found there were just too many combinations to make the idea viable. So I did what you did. I found another way to divided the 39 numbers into 3 groups.

I turned to the frequency count. After arranging the numbers according to increasing frequency, I made my divisions. There were still too many combinations to make the effort worthwhile.

How to Play Michigan Fantasy 5

1. Players select five numbers from a field of 39, or mark the Easy Pick box and let the computer randomly select the numbers for them.

2. Players can play up to five times on each Fantasy 5 playslip.

3. Before submitting a playslip, players should make sure the numbers and multi-draw option are the ones they want. Tickets cannot be cancelled after they are issued.

The Fantasy 5 pool closes at 7:08 p.m. the day of the drawing.

I know this is not the system forum, but I thought it would be more appropriate to put this post here under pick 5.

I am using vtracs with picking the pick 5 numbers.

I had been using the 221 system that I discussed a few months back. https://www.lotterypost.com/thread/142913/5

However, after working with the chart for over 100 days, I see it would make more sense to use the 221 with the vtrac numbers instead of the actual draws.

Before positions were:
