It is a very advanced text editor, pushing the limits of what web browsers are capable of. However, most people do not even attempt to use the more advanced features. All the buttons are right there and advanced features can be used by clicking a little button, but alas, I cannot force people to click the buttons.

The Simple Codes Editor is activated if you go i... [ More ]

I'd say you're both right. They check the balls and don't use them as long as they believe that all of the balls are within spec, but that doesn't mean that every ball is perfect and exactly the same as every other ball. The variations will be minor, but they will be there, and it's reasonable to assume that some balls will be slightly more or less likely to be drawn. The question is how much more or less likely.

If everything about the drawing was completely perfect and a single ballset was... [ More ]

I have to disagree, no ball set is perfect from defects, therefore if you knew each ball ser and when they were going to draw and finally recorded what balls came up, you would start to see a pattern for each ball set... The real reason they use multiple ball sets and multiple machines for that matter is to make the draws random not for security purposes - Not to hurt anyone's feelings, Pogo

If someone told you that next time they will use ball set 12 what advantage would that bring..none really..the main reason they use different balls sets is to ensure security (since if someone were to tamper with a particular set there would be no guarantee they will use it)...and also its good when you change balls because it helps with the wearing out or not getting damaged so quickly as if you just used one single set all the time...

the balls are the same size and same weight to very very... [ More ]

Exactly. They don't draw numbers. They draw balls that happen to have numbers printed on them. Why worry about numbers that only change every few years when the balls are randomly changed all the time? The number 6 may have been in the winning combination more often than any other number, but the *ball* that has been drawn most often might be one with a 23 printed on it. Unless you can account for which balls were actually drawn you're collecting trivia, not data.

I Disagree: They have changed the Balls Sets quite a few times since the inception of the Game, which changes the behavior of the Number Assigned to each Ball. It may not even be worth looking at the last 285 draws. LOL...

It really depends on what you are trying to do, when you're picking numbers to play, checking just the last 285 drawings since the last matrix change is good but if you're talking about the history of PowerBall drawings, including all 1101 drawings since it started is better.
