Gail Howard knows a litle bit about the lottery and a great deal about what gullible people will pay for. There are 2,260,440 combinations that can be made with 28 regular balls and 23 mega balls. That's half of the numbers in the game, but it doesn't matter how you pick half of them. Pick 28 and 23 of them randomly and there will still be 2,260,440 possible combinations, regardless of how many odd, even, low or high numbers are in the mix. Use all the numbers and there are almost 176 million po... [ More ]

I have seen a couple (not many) where the five white balls were all odd or even.....but I cannot recall a time when the five white balls were odd and the mega ball was odd (or even the reverse of that being all balls were even). Correct me if I am wrong, but I think this was truly a very rare Odd occurance.

This is not totally out of the norm. it does happen quite a few times a year, however the most popular combination of odd/even is the 2/3 or the 3/2 followed by the 1/4 or the 4/1 then comes the 5/0 or 0/5......I used to track it.

Just goes to show anything is possible, especially with odds of 175 mill to 1. Still, I even though I don't follow any so called expert, I think it is smart to play what happens most, rather than what happens rarely.
