Gail Howard knows a litle bit about the lottery and a great deal about what gullible people will pay for. There are 2,260,440 combinations that can be made with 28 regular balls and 23 mega balls. That's half of the numbers in the game, but it doesn't matter how you pick half of them. Of the 175,711,536 possible MM combinations there are 2,260,440 with all even numbers and 2,260,440 with all odds numbers, so you should expect one to shows up once in a while.

I have seen a couple (not many) where the five white balls were all odd or even.....but I cannot recall a time when the five white balls were odd and the mega ball was odd (or even the reverse of that being all balls were even). Correct me if I am wrong, but I think this was truly a very rare Odd occurance.

This is not totally out of the norm. it does happen quite a few times a year, however the most popular combination of odd/even is the 2/3 or the 3/2 followed by the 1/4 or the 4/1 then comes the 5/0 or 0/5......I used to track it.

Just goes to show anything is possible, especially with odds of 175 mill to 1. Still, I even though I don't follow any so called expert, I think it is smart to play what happens most, rather than what happens rarely.

Gail H. in one of her many books says Never select all odd or all even numbers... .
