Maybe I should explain where my thinking came from on this issue. Not long ago when NJ hadn't put their budget together in time the state shut down. The casinos were shut down and the lottery machines were shut down as well. They continued to have daily and nightly drawings though claiming that since people had purchased numbers by subscription they had to pull the numbers. Now why would they throw the courtesy to subscription players over live players? If your network is down, then why not cred... [ More ]

Feisty1 said: Is this possibly a ploy to get more players to play by subscription

No they don't care if people have subscriptions or not.

More than likely it was some kind of computer malfunction. Especially if they are using a satellite connection. Happens here in Maryland also once in a while especially if theres a heavy rain storm in the area. Some places machines stay on line and some don't.

mega millions is going to draw the numbers regardless whether a state is offline or not.... [ More ]

Again today, sporadic outages with no explanation ... What's going on? In all my years of living and playing in New York, their network was NEVER down unless there was a blackout/power outage type situation. Is this possibly a ploy to get more players to play by subscription??? Especially since they will still draw numbers even though a... [ More ]
