In Michigan you can get 10 on one ticket but they all have to be easy picks.

20 lines on 1 ticket more convenient? I don't think I would like that. We can get 10 lines on 1 Powerball ticket though, which I don't mind.

In Ohio the play slip for MegaMillions has 5 sets of boards (one for 5 WB and one for the MB) so tickets are limited to 5 sets of combinations per ticket. However play slips for Classic Lotto have 10 boards and one combination per board so tickets can have 10 sets of combinations per tickets. It's just how the system is set up.

I would think if you could get a ticket similar to a cash register receipt with all your purchases, it could get all wrinkled and be harder for the terminal to check.... [ More ]

This is something that I have wondered for quite some time. Why is the maximum number of Mega Millions plays which can appear on a single slip of ticket paper capped at 5? The paper is on a continuous roll and is free-form (no lines or anything pre-printed). It would be so much more convennient that if I bought $20 worth of tickets that they would all print on 1 piece of ticket paper.

At least this is the case in Maryland - is it different in other states
