I will try that later. It's not really a big deal. I just check on OK on the error message and continue with what I was doing.

I understand. Internet Explorer has fairly complex caching, having something to do with the Windows account management system, as well as 32/64 bit differences, for those running a 64-bit environment. Sometimes it requires more than one go at it, so just hang in there and clear the cache again.

I cleared the cache and it seemed to work after closing IE7. I closed the browser again, turned the computer off and came back a couple of hours later. The first time I tried to post anything, I got the message.

That error message -- when seen on a page containing the rich text editor -- is always cache related. I have found that after clearing the cache, restarting the browser helps. Also, if you're using different web browsrs, each has its own cache that would need to be cleared independently.

I get the following when I start to post something:

Object of type 'System.String' cannot be converted to type 'System.Boolean'.

I am using IE7. I will try the clearing of the browser cache. I just wanted you to know this is happening in IE7.

I updated the text editor last night, and Firefox users especially may be seeing an error popup alert when they go to a page with the editor on it.

It is simple to fix:

Clear your browser cache. Close and re-open the browser.
