Well, sometimes what happened to one does not happen to everyone. I did maintain one straight no 570 at night draw only and it came out when my bet reached 30 pesos...I started with 2 pesos....not a month , right? I am again beginning to bet on 516 still for the evening draw only....I will come back here if after a number of days or a month it will come out, if not, that's always expected....maybe some other person gets luckier with his/her bet. -) Thank you for the comment.

It's funny like that. We can say the Florida lottery is 1 in 22,957,480 or 6 in 53 they are the same. Our poster's game is 1 in 100 or 2 in 10.

Straight is a condition of winning as most lotto games don't take number position into account.

Our poster's game has 45 boxed all different digits and 10 doubles, but they don't pay for boxed, so there is 100 straight 10 of which are doubles.

I didn't read the OP correctly. I thought he said the numbers were 00 through 99 and he had to pick 2 numbers out of 100. I didn't realize he meant that 99 would be 2 numbers. That's different. I know that pick 3 in FL is 1 in 1,000 (straight) and the pick-4 is 1 in 10,000 (straight) At least that's what the FL web site says

That's because you're using 100 as the pool instead of 10. The odds calculator will give you box odds not straight for Pick-3/4. If you do Pick-3 and put in 3 picked from a pool of 10 with 3 drawn it will give you 1 in 120 the boxed odds, no doubles no triples. So for Pick-2 put in 2 picked from a pool of 10 with 2 drawn it will give you 1 in 45 the boxed odds discarding the mirror combinations and doubles. BobP

It would seem the true odds would be 1 in 100 since there are only 100 combinations of any two numbers in the drawing. And that would make sense. There is a one in 10 chance of getting the first number and a one in 10 chance of getting the second.

From there determine the number of possibilities for your sum chart. Add the two digits together to get your sum. We know there is only one combination for 00, and only one combination for 18 (9+9) your highest total.

What is the prize for getting 2 out of 99? Actually, it looks as if this is 2 out of 100, since you listed the double zero. The odds calculator I used says a pick 2 from 100 numbers is 1 in 4950.

Had I noticed in 1994 that the pick-3 straight number 023 in Ohio hadn't hit in 10 years, I may have taken your advice and it was finally drawn. The problem is it wasn't drawn until last week or over 24 years between hits.

If I were to play pick 2 I would maintain only 1 combination until it hits....Very small amount at first and inceasing the bet everyday. If itcomes out when my bet is already that big...then I would be reaping much muchmore f what I have betted, right?

After the win, I get another combination and start it with small amount again.....and so on and so forth...

Make sure to start with a number combination that has not come out yet or has been coming out repeatedly....

For the 2 number game, just make a vertical list of 0-9 on a sheet of paper. One of those numbers have to come out right?

Then just add one number to the entire list, and your odds will be reduced from 1 in a 100 to 1 in 10.

Let's say the number we will choose is 8:
