The lottery really doesn't need to cheat, they actually go out of thier way to make sure its ligitimate, but there will always be a contingent of folks who believe otherwise. i c numbers mentioned that 911 was drawn on the second anniversary of 911. I discarded my vote as lotteries do not cheat. I have sat in on many lottery draws and know that nothing but random chance alone determines the winning numbers. As you know the odds of winning the combination(s) exactly is astronomical ... even lottery draws coordinators play the games and lose.

Front and back pair are not pick2 they may seem that way nor is 2by2 a pick2...Anyways i wasn't reffering to a permutation pick2 i was refering to a combination pick2 and even if i was refering to a permutation pick2 i was referring to a game that should cost if you look at the payouts of pick4 and pick3 each according/respectively this pick2 should cost 25 cents and pay a straight payout of 50 dollars...And yes i was also refering to a Pick2 stand alone...

They do have pick 2 it's called front pair / back pair in most states. You pick which 2 numbers you think will come out in a pick 3 drawing.

Think it's easy give it a try. Pick any state start a thread and post your selections. Remember also that the bet has a reduced payout.

Pick 2 stand alone lottery game wouldn't be worth the trouble for most states.

It is easy enough, for anyone with a system (it doesn't even have to be a good system) and a bit of ambition, to prove to themselves that tube rotation, ball set changes, pre-drawing, etc. don't matter in the long run.

Two reasons. Surely they make a lot of money whether they needed to or not. That's been the nature of the beast from the getgo. Trust me, just like any other number crunchers, the accountants have think tanks with strategists, trying to figure how much milk they can squeeze out of a cow.

Well that's not exactly the case. There were people who knew that the Tennessee lottery was cheating the people. Soon after they started their computerized drawings some people let them know and the problem was supposedly fixed.

Computerized drawings are easy to rig.

Ball drawings are a whole lot harder to rig and i doubt they would have too. The odds they have for the drawings are already in their favor. Why would they risk rigging the games the profit margin is in their pockets.

I assume if lotteries were cheating, they would be trying to pick combinations not played, how would you reverse engineer that?

If they were using a program that picked combinations using an algorithm that was predictable, then that would be stupid not cheating and quite a few players might take advantage. Although when Tennessee used a program for their pick3 game that didn't pick doubles or triples, players complained rather take advantage of the 1:720 odds over the 1:1000 odds.
