Tailfish, roaches are filthy things aren't they? My Mama, says to dream of roaches means sickness, illness, disease. Either of the dreamer or some one in his/her immediate family. I've had this dream before and in this past week I've had it recurring two nights. It's definitely a warning of illness.

On a positive note if you get to kill them in the dream, you'll overcome the illness - if not, then it overcomes you.
