I have a budget, but I don't often stick to it. One pick-5 each day = $30. 4 Lotto twice a week = $32 That's $62 a month. This week I felt lucky (who knows why!) and bought a couple of PB tickets with PP, so that added $4 to this week. I also bought a couple of Fantasy 5 quick-picks and 2 FL Megamoney tickets on Tues. So that's $23 so far this week with 2 nights to go.

I've budgeted to spend a certain amount on each game; a little bit more if the jackpot has rolled over several times and the jackpot is HUGH; but I am going to divide that amount and try the casinos because the lotto games are getting bit boring and repetitive.

It really depends on how high the jackpot is for me, I only play Mega Millions and I won't start playing until it's $15M after all likely taxes which, if starting from the base at the start of the month would take about two weeks to get there and only then I'll only be playing a dollar a drawing until it rolls to 25M after taxes then I still only usually play two dollars then until it reaches 50M after taxes, then I spend five but by the time it gets that high it's a new month. I was spending around $ 500.00 to $ 800.00 a month.Sometimes more sometimes less.

But since TN lottery system isnt the best, Ive cut back to 10.00 a week with that I play Pick 5, lotto Plus,Powerball

Pick5- mon,wed,friday. 2lines each=$6.00

lottoPlus-tues,friday. 1line each = $2.00

powerball-wed,Sat. 1 line each =$ 2.00.

And actually that is working out better.

No telling how many people Ive put through College.LOL

we usually spend $4 on wed and $4 on sat. sometimes more- usually no less. We usually get 2 PB tickets and 2 cash 5 (like a pick 5) tickets. Depending on cash 5 payouts, sometimes we get more, or get some on different days.1 of each, for each drawing, is always 'our' number, and the other is a quick pick.

For awhile, we were spending about $50 a week...we decided that was a bit much

I am part of an employee pool at work and I was spending $2 a week ($4 if the first set of tickets didn't win) with the other 38 or so employees.

So minimum I was paying $8 a month, maximum $16

Now after the $207 million Piqua employee fiasco, we have gone to a contract that requires $20 a month up front or you are excluded for the entire month. I begin to start playing the POWERBALL regularly,since I don't have a job right now. Presently, I spend $9/month each on Classic Lotto, Powerball, and MegaMillions for myself. Then, I spend perhaps another $10-15 month on the office lottery pool. These are the only machine-lottery games I play. I also buy a few scratch tickets to give away for Christmas or birthdays.

In 25 years the largest prize I've won or shared was $72. However, I once won a $100 prize in a company raffle.

My spending varies greatly, depending on current work. I never spend more than I can afford, some months I have spent $200+ and others just $32 a month. I run two different lotto groups so I have a minimun spending of $8 a week. But this is a source of entertainment so losing doesn't bother me too badly, and winning is oh so sweet

Yes, $350/day. The sysem I developed got cold so I stopped using it. While it was hot I needed to cover enough pick 4 numbers, thus $350/day to win between $350 - $1,000/day. Would profit between $3,000 - $5,000 a month already calculated in many days I lost. Though it was a short lasted event, my luck is not the same since. Now I am lowering the bets amount and numbers.
