It is hard to see what is going on with a game because there are too many possible combinations on jackpot kind of games.

Good suggestion George but the display is the same for all the games I play.

My latest revision on this program is for 60 numbers in 6 rows. When I first wrote it years ago it was for 50 numbers in 5 row but as the games I played changed I revised it. When Ohio had Lot'O play it was revised for 100 numbers in 10 rows but I had to display them in two screens. Since I play MegaMillions(5/56), Classic Lotto(6/49) sometimes PowerBall(5/59) and Rolling Cash5(5/39), 60 numbers in 6 rows works well.... [ More ]

Probably anyway you can think of looking at lottery results has been considered or done but hasn't produced any results worth mentioning. Most commercial software limit their procedures to what is most popular to the most players, but players writing their own software are free to try everything and do. As have been suggested else where, if numbers are picked randomly then it's unlikely any patterns or trends exist that would help predict how they might be picked in future drawings but it's alwa... The data I posted was from a file that was sorted with the lowest number in column 1 and the highest number in column 5. When I first started tracking drawings results, I thought about tracking numbers in the order they were drawn but to do that I would have to see each drawing live or see a tape of it and that wasn't possible and most websites don't show results that way either. Beside when searching for matches in past drawings, it's faster if the drawings are sorted.

This is quite interesting to see how the columns and the numbers within are distributed. I wonder is this how the numbers are actually drawn, as they appear in the live drawing, or recorded after the drawing from low value to high value.

They could even look at the ending digits and do the same to the ending digits and then deduce...

I was just trying to help....All i was saying is i have not seen anyone look at the numbers through columns...

I have looked at tracking columns using my software. I tracked pick 5 tracking each vertical column separately. You can find it in my blog. Works out as I could find different stats for something that was due like a number , low and high in a number, all low, one low one high, all even all odd What decade hits most frequently in a column etc. when a different decade was due to hit in a column. Has any of you all heard anything about the subject...Just trying to help...Has anyone done work outs about the columns? When i mean columns or any work out of column of combinations this is what i mean...

Most of the time, most work outs look at the ROWS of combinations but nobody looks at the COLUMNS of numbers [pick5, powerball, pick6, keno]....

Suppose we have the winning combinations:

11- 23- 32- 35- 36 6/16/2009

01- 03- 11- 24- 34 6/17/2009

10- 13- 14- 35- 38 6/18/2009
