I have also used Gail Howard's system and won. Not the jackpot...yet. But I can tell you this: When I use her systems I nearly ALWAYS win SOMETHING and when I don't I win nothing.

Basically Gail's system does exactly what she says. It reduces the odds of the game in your favor.

I've won hundreds of dollars using her system and know that if I just keep playing and adjusting and improving my skill at using the system to pick my numbers I will win.

I have a booklet on lotto and part of it is a list of of nevers (never play these) by Gail Howard. Consecutive numbers is one of the nevers.

It only takes about any given ten days on the forums here at LP to see almost her entire list to be baloney. Never play all odds, never play all evens, never play all highs, never play all lows , etc...

There have been lots on winners with Gail Howards programs. I hit in Virginia using it on the Fantasy five game. So don't knock her. She doesn't pick your numbers, you do.

She will tell you to play with your head not your wallet. Don't spend more than you have.

The winner that won 45 million here in Texas just spent $35 dollars a week for four years. Then hit big. Just be consistant.

a couple of weeks ago in texas cash 5, the winning numbers were 12-13-14-24-25, two sets of consecutive numbers.

Now the sad part, with the workout system I use and then wheeling i had this combination but cut it from my list because i figured there was no way!

When I get numbers like that I always think, if I win I will be the only winner and won't have to split.

Yeah I've seen numbers like that and they came from rolling balls, not computerized drawings.

Good catch! Remember it's much easier to get 5 then 6 consecutive.

Out of 12,271,512 total combinations 1,806 are 5 consecutive and only 43 are 6 consecutive. We now have to wait out about 6794 draws for it to happen again. It's not impossible it won't happen again in the next draw, but that's not the way to bet.

For any one who believes that the it'll never happen situation truly will never happen in a lottery game ... and further proof that all numbers have an equally likely chance of being drawn.

These are the numbers drawn for the Monday 8/24/09 MegaBucks lottery in Oregon

27-44-45-46-47-48 ..... 6 high numbers with a run of 5 consecutive numbers
