For mega millions (the only game I play now other than pick 3), I like to pick my own bonus ball number for all 5 picks (35), but have the machine pick my other numbers on all drawings except one (my lucky numbers, which ironically was the result of a quick pick). While I have always had better luck with QPs, my biggest win (25 bucks on keno) was a result of picking my own numbers. I guess it depends on the mood I am in.

Just something to think about, let's call it a cold, hard fact of lotto, but no matter how much research you've done to come up with your numbers , the one night in your life that they hit solid (6 of 6 or 5 + 1), they may very well also be someone else's Quick Pick for that drawing!

That's just yet another way the Lotto Fairy entertains herself

QP vs Player's selections is always one of the hot topics here.

Just as an example, this is from Illinois Little Lotto (Pick 5) so far this year:

103 Jackpots

92 QP

54 PS

(Includes shared jackpots so it totals to more than the number of jackpots)

I just want to know if there is a chart to determine how many times the winning jackpot has been won with OPs vs Selected Numbers;
