Personally, I think lotto is a big waste of time and so is pick 10 borderline. I play very little in those. Take 5 is your best chance at a jackpot game and I guess sweet million is just take 5 with an extra ball though the jackout odds jump to 1:3.8 million. Mega less of a dream than lotto but still near impossible to hit. Pick 3 is obviously best odds with lowest payout and pick 4 is the ultimate dammit I'm one off game . Yeah I got 4 numbers again this time with my manual pick line of 1 10 11 19 26 30. Every since that 26 appeared early on the website for no particular reason I've been playing it. Good luck to everyone on thursday. On another note, why does it take them so long to update the game winners? They do have computer results pretty fast so I don't understand the delay.

I think people are just plain tired of all these games that produce no returns on their investment. Lotto, mega, take5, pick10 and now the sweet millions. Lets not also forget the daily numbers and win4.

But 400k tickets doesnt necessarily mean 400k $1 dollar tickets. Maybe its just the awareness of the game that the tickets didnt sell more. Will have to wait and see and if they really go negative the game will disappear unless they take the money from elsewhere I would think

The local Syracuse Sunday paper had a little blip on the game today. Said the state sold 400k tickets, and mentioned that no one won the Million. Had someone won they would have been in the negative.

OK. 2 out of 6 with my own picks. 0 out of 6 with the quick picks. Not a bad start.

I think my first mistake with my number selection was not leaving one category of numbers out (single digits, teens, twenties etc...).

This is where draw history (if you buy in to it) could have allowed me to perhaps forecast that single digits were due to drop out in the draw.

I agree with the QP idea, as ALOT of Take 5 and LOTTO are won by QP, I have been buying at least 1 qp a day on Take 5 to see if that works better than my numbers. So far they are both about even with each other.

Ok. A little test. Which will do better; my randomly selected numbers or quick picks from the machine. We have no data yet..so it's get lucky time! My real prediction is that this game will be as sucky as the rest. Just another revenue producer for the NY Lottery. They'll no doubt make sure the first win comes from a quick pick from some low income depressed area. To help attract interest....and money from the impoverished.

the prizes are fixed for Sweet Million

Except in the event there are more than 5 winners of the $1 million top prize, then they may make the smaller prizes pari-mutual

probably not very good odds for more than 5 to win first prize in a single draw, so not too much of a concern

still trying to wrap my head around how it compares to the other big games...maybe will toss a buck in the premiere game tonight and see how it goes
