Great stuff Jack-C. Yes it's exactly what I wanted. Now I Have two to choose from. How did you do it so quickly? I'd love to know how to do it, but suppose it's a trade secret or one needs a really good knowledge of math\algebra to work out the formulae.

Spot on BobP. This looks to be just what I want. 2 from 3 guarantee sounds good to me over 22 selections in 38 lines. Will now configure it into my system and see how things go. Have been trying to get to grips with formulae found on the web, but now too old to work it all out. Thank you very much.

Sounds like you would benefit from constructing your own wheels. To do this have a look at Wheel Generator under the Lotto Architect web site.

Wheel Generator will construct virtually any combination of guarantee, match condition number of balls you desire.

Many thanks for your response BobP - much appreciated - but what I am looking to do is make up one part of a system that I am building up (for a 'pick 6' lottery in Australia), and this segment requires the best combination of 3 from 20 (I know the full odds are long). I may increase it to 4 picks from 30 sels (or even reduce it to 2 picks from say 16 sels), but initially I need a good abbreviated wheel combination of 3 from 20 before I take the matter further.

A Pick-6 wheel is good for any Pick-6 game unless the wheel is larger then game size.

I am seeking a 'wheeled system', not to use on any of the lotteries shown, but in an Australian pick 6 lottery.

I need to find a system that picks 3 from either 20 or 25 selections offerring the best available combinations of 3 @ whatever 'minimum' cost.

Can anyone help - or do I need to go somewhere else
