Beyer speed ratings or figures which appear in the program are not to be ignored! It is not the tell all win all solution but it sure can identify contenders. A quick angle is to search for the triple advantage which is simply to look at the last three figures posted and compare them against the competition. I was over to one of my friends, yesterday, we were talking about Hollywood Park, the horse that ran in the BreedersCup He won the race, Zen. well He is supposed to run Sunday at Hollywood Park, She thinks he will win, He probably will win. C. Work Outs: Be mindful of workouts a horse engages in. If there is a bullet by the workout it indicates that it was among the faster workouts of the day. Also, take note if the line says handily or breezing . Handily means that the jock had to coerce the horse to run and breezing means that the horse ran of it's own accord.

First time starters should have at least 12 workouts before running a first race. Also, be alert for bulleted works for a horse that never showed a fast work out in it's... [ More ]

We are just back from NYC.

I have recieved a several emails PMs while away inquiring more racing plans- instead of answering individually, plan to share a unusual mechanical pic procedure as a new topic in this forum for everybody's consideration.

The unique concept is not the holy grail not for sale but is a no brainer without handicapping that yirlds uncanny results and very easy to back test without risking a bet.

You got that right!!! Because you do have to be lucky! I have had luck a lot of times, but sometimes you have to use you head too, in figuring out a number for Horses or Numbers and you do have to have a system. Systems or Luck! Good Luck to you too

I haven't been to the track in at least 5 yrs. I played almost exclusively harness racing. My method of play was highly mathematical and computerized. Kind of the opposite of the way you pick them.

eddes your post makes sense..I will never understand when I go to the OTB here in Ky there is a little old lady who will put 2.00 on a long shot to place and I mean longshot..9 times out of 10 the horse wins..I tell her for a extra 2.00 if you really like the horse take a flyer and put 2.00 on it's nose and place..She bet one horse that went off at 35-1 and it won but she played it just to place..She now every once in a while will bet 2.00 on the horses nose..She did it once and it paid big buck... When playing longshots there are several guidelines I like to follow.

Thanks I will copy this. You are right about betting horses that have a 1/1 odds, you can't make any money with those odds, I rarely bet on a horses with odds like that. Yesterday was my lucky day, Keenland $69.00 for 4/10 exacta. Belmont $29.00 for Exacta. Turf paradise $15.00 13/8 Ex. Santa Anita 215 $1.Trifecta 134.00 and Ex. 2/1 $34.00 Belmont 7/8 Ex.. Received several PM inqueries on aforementioned Dutching chart which can be a good hedging strategy should be applied in conjuction with my above protocols

The predicted number values of the day that are being being posted (in the blog The Sport of Kings) are to be watched in the Win or Place positions. These are the predominate numbers of the day which will be in the money with a high rate of frequency on their given date as predicted.

The numbers of the day must be watched in the Win or Place positions and should be the primary focal point...whether playing just to win or place or in exotic wagers.

Fort Erie:

Race #1...#4 placed= $18.00

Race #2...#7 won= $10.70 and #3 placed= $8.30 Exactor 7-3= $76.40

Race #5...#8 placed= $38.90

Race #6...#4 won= $11.20

Race #8...#7 won= $12.60 and #3 placed= $9.30 Exactor 7-3= $91.60

Race #9...#7 placed= $9.60

I did play a Superfecta, but should of played the trifecta, I played in super 7834 and in the trifecta it was 834 I think it was Turf Paradise. I am going to go back and check. Yeah I was playing Fort Erie too. Nothing happen there though. I have to admit your numbers are good. 7,8 came a few times. I have to check with you on weekends, that is when I usually go.

Wow Cypher, I ddin't know it ,you called the Superfecta at LO. Downs. The Ex. the Tri, and The Superfecta. I was trying to hit it but played it in the wrong race! I will stay in touch! Oh, By the way, those were good long Shots for Hoosier Track! This was good information you gave, because I am always trying to play a lot of different Tracks, you are right you must stick with a few of them. It is hard trying to play a lot of different Tracks, not only that you run out of money fast.

I had to come back and post this! I was thinking about your numbers you posted. 1,2,5,6. Well this is what happened. I was playing Lousiana Downs. and Santa Anita. I played the 256 in Sanita Anita when I should of played it at Louisana Downs, 625 Tri. for $1.00 paid $847.00 or something like that. for a $2.00 bet much more. I think it was the last Race at Louisana Downs. Oct. 3rd. I got to the Track late so I don't know what came at other tracks. I didn't get there untill 5pm, or after. But toda... [ More ]

How does your ROI (return in investment) calculate? What track were you at? DEPENDING ON YOUR WAGERING SCHEDULE....You sshould have made a bundle at OTB, casino race book or a track window live !!!
