The first day of sales for Mega Millions (in Idaho) is Jan. 31.

Computer issue's caused ID not to start mid-day Pick 3.

Maybe they will have better luck with Mega-Millions.

Hi Todd,

I was right about when the ID Lottery said they would start the mid-day Pick 3.

They had some puter hiccups and called it off. The system has been acting weird for the last 2 weeks. Slow and shutting down during transactions.

The new slips are out and have to be used. The old ones are not working anymore. I don't know what happened. All the stores have the new slips with the Day/Night plays.

I couldn't find anymore information either. Other than the commissioners passed the amendment to add these games.

My thought is now the Midday / Night will start Tuesday with Mega Millions.

Sorry for the false information. I'm surprised I usually get good info from the lottery person I see that services the machines.... [ More ]

The Idaho Lottery has talked about adding a midday Pick 3 drawing since last March. In fact, I believe they were supposed to start it on September 1st of 2009, but I don't know what happened after that.

I can't find any information or news articles about it either. Although, my mom went to the store today and was talking to a clerk and she was told that we would be getting midday Pick 3 on the 16th. But that day has passed, so I was thinking maybe she could have meant sometime this week or maybe Feb. 16th. I really have no idea.

Idaho did not appear to conduct a midday Pick 3 drawing today. Is it something that perhaps starts tomorrow or another day? I could not find any press info on it.

Hi Todd.

Starting 01/17/2010 Idaho has a Mid-Day (1:57pm) and Evening drawing for Pick 3. Drawing to be held everyday.

The ILC also added the Mega Millions game to Idaho play choices.
