You probably clicked Subscribe on threads, although you did not mention what kind of e-mails you're getting. Did you read the bottom of the e-mail where it describes how to turn them off

Getting a ton of e-mails via lottery post how do I turn this off. went into e-mail settings and nothing is checked for me to receive them . All of a sudden started getting these today. Any help would be appreciated
