because when we had a referendum on what to replace a queen with, we let the pro monarchy people in and they made sure what came up as the option to vote on was unaceptable, ie another polly nominated polly.

my personal favorite was a raffle. as to who became rubber stamping head of state.

I read a bunch about the place and am quite impressed....

They reached positive on jobs waaaay before the US did.

The only thing that confuses me is why they don't get independance from Queen Elizabeth?

Nice warm place to live. Nice economy.

The scenery isn't as nice as The West...

I think Australia is a great country but the new gun laws are ridiculous. No lotto winner in that regard.
