I like to think of tarot cards , playing cards ,the Runes etc. as positive ways to take a look at my life and show me what I need to focus on or help me to see/understand what's going on in my life. -------nothing evil there.

I like messing around with pendulums......I've read the church outlawed them too.

what I try to do best is try and get people to stop playing all together. If people only really understood how the lottery is designed and how much they really have stolen from you, alot will stop playing.

Do you go to bars and try to get the customers to stop drinking too?

Do you go to tobacco shops and tell people to quit smoking?

Do you hang out in McDonalds and tell people not to eat the hamburgers because of all the fat?

You are playing fairly safe then, spending a $1000 a year on the lottery is very safe for playing Pick 3 or Pick 4, and if your numbers do ever come up you will be ahead, but let me rest-a-sure you if your numbers do hit say (exact) and you get $5,000 don't ever get excited and blow half or all that money back into the lottery, this is how it all gets started you hit big and the next thing you know your an addict blowing your mortgage to play the game..

A comment about Tarot cards.

This is from various sources......the tarot deck wss used to tell the story of what was really going on when the church (as in Catholic church) and land barons and politicians were wheeling and dealing with each other.

There was a lot of censorship going on, churches had Bibles chained to a wall of the church so the people didn't have access to them, etc...

For me it's about $72 to $85 amonth, I'm strictly a $1 and $2 player.

Most of it is Little Lotto (Illinois Pick 5, 5/39). I play the others but not everyday, Pick 4 I play the least.

Ever since RJOh posted about using a planner I've been doing that.

I consider playing lotteries as entertainment. When you spend money on entertainment, you don't expect to get it back, same as when you spend it on alcohol, cigarettes or cable TV. At least with lotteries there's a snowball chance you might get lucky and win something in return.

For over ten years I've brought a $3 planner book and tracked the games I played with the amount I spent and won. Since I name my play files by date and game I know what I spent on each game. For example when I played MegaMillions last Friday I entered MM032610-10/0 which means the combinations I played were in computer file MM032610, I played MegaMillions on 03/26/2010, spent $10 on tickets, won $0 and at the bottom I subtracted 10 from Tuesday's -$223 and entered -$233 which means I'm $233 in... Most people are in the $200-$1000 range a month and some even higher without even knowing it!

Simply just keep a log on how much you spend on the lottery and how much you get back and in the end of the month find out how much money you lost, then at the end of the year add up everything.

95% of the time if you do this correct you will cry once you add it all up over the course of the year and been like dang I could have paid off alot of my mortgage, down... [ More ]
