I HUGE thank you to everyone who posted such nice comments about the new results pages. I'm sorry I can't respond to everyone individually, but please know that I have read all the comments, and I greatly appreciate them!

I am hard at work on some new stuff that will hopefully be even cooler. Who knows, maybe it won't even appear on Lottery Post.

The stuff I'm working on is pretty complicated and challenging, so it takes a lot of my time and won't be ready for a while.

You need 3 numbers and the mega ball.

When you purchase your next megamillion ticket, or even the one you have now. Read the back of the ticket, or pick up a pamphlet with information about the game you are playing.

Never rely on other people to inform you of your winnings.

When in doubt, scan the ticket, and any lottery retailer.

First, Wow the graphics! Countdown clocks to next drawings! Icons of each (TX,AR, KS, CA, NJ,PR, EuroMillions, etc., etc) drawing ! ! Numeric balls with latest draw results! HUGE amount of work! It's all really beautiful, and I've only viewed a tiny portion.

You may be right, there may be one or two bugs related to time zone. I'll do my best to fix it. It can be a tricky piece of code to get perfect the first time.

I went back and looked at it again and realized that although it said the current draw was for today, it was actually yesterday's draw. When it updated to the correct draw for today, the time remaining changed to 1 day 2 hours... Now tell me how (in any time zone) when the draw just happened the next draw is in 1 day and 2 hours.

The times until the next draw, at least for California, are not even close to being correct. For Midday (which was just drawn and results shown) it shows just over 2 hours until the next draw. For the Evening draw it shows about 8 hours until the next draw.

Todd - You should be extremely proud of the outstanding job with the new updates. The results page is amazing and gives it the 'drawing' feel to me, especially with the countdown telling you how long before the next draw. I've always liked websites that show the results in ball/sphere form it's a great visual. Congratulations and thanks for an amazing website

I gotta tell you, the hardest thing of all about creating the new results pages was amassing a collection of high-quality logos for each game.

Some state lotteries really helped me out by providing some great graphics, but for the most part I had to create or modify them myself. It took forever!!

Wow, scary update today -- just because it's been so long!

The biggest change is the brand new lottery results pages. Holy mackerel, they were a lot of work!!

I had been planning to update the results pages for years now, and it has actively been in the works for over a year. It's much harder to make an effective and universal page like that than most people think. They went through SO MANY iterations and tweaks to arrive at what you see now.
