That was guesser take on your situation.

I think if they ever come up with a way to track online lottery tickets sales and winnings so they can be taxed by the states of origin and the federal government then they may make buying them that way legal and you won't have to buy them from the local retailers.

Until then you can probably continue to buy foreign lottery tickets online and include those winnings on your tax forms and be legal.

RJOH, I'm from new york city. I just happen to know England sells lottery tickets online. I have also realized that selling lottery tickets online is not good a idea after reading LP players answers to my post. Like they say is always good to see things from everybody point of view. The problem with selling lottery tickets on line is who gets to tax the winnings, not concerns about people gambling their lives away. States are adding multi-states lotteries to their local games to keep gambling monies in their states for taxing rather than losing it to neighboring states.

I doubt any state will ever allow lotto tickets to be bought online. Political pressure from constituents would never allow it. Also, politicians themselves know they would eventually be faced with horror stories of how people gambled their lives away on the lotto. If you live in England then buying PB and MM tickets on line make sense. You guys have syndicates over there that buy lottery tickets, don't you? I've read about them but they never made sense for my type of playing. Good luck to you.

You forgot to mention that fja gives PB and MM Challenge stats and some of the predictors are pretty consistent. I'm seriously considering playing one of the challenge predictions using a 3 if 4 of 12 number wheel for $12. Considering the QPs I've been getting, it can't do any worse

The purpose of the Maddog challenges are the same as the Prediction Board, it's a forum for LP members to demonstrate their skills for picking MM and PB winning numbers. There use to be more of them and Maddog's is the only one still around.

When both PB and MM were only sold in a few states, buying them on line was a good alternate to traveling out of state to buy them but now that both are becoming available in most states at the local convenience stores and gas stations, what is the advantage of buying them on line

I feel that people in finance, those that deal with stocks are fighting hard to prevent that from happening.
