No, I wouldn't want to go back to being 16 even when I was 16, even though life was a little better in the 60's for teens than it is now, socially speaking than is, there were too many drugged students, so I had little choice when it came to making quality friends. I still live in the same house that I grew up in during the 50's, 60's etc. that cost $32,000, only I had to buy it from my parents in 2003, for many times what they paid for it, and the neighborhood is still wonderful today.

You wouldn't be 16 now, you'd be 16 when you were 16. Don't like 16, you could try slipping the time machine tec a grand from your 100 grand to make it 18 or 21, whatever works for you.

The real question is whether you'd be happier and better off with a hundred grand back when or now with 10 million or whatever. Just by coincidence, I was talking to my 15 year old neice this afternoon and she brought up her high school. She wants to take certain courses offered to her in the next school year (10th grade), but she was told there are too many girls in those courses who belong to gangs and start fights with the other girls, so she cannot take advantage of those courses in the field she wanted to pursue for her career because she is afraid of them.

I would definitely take the lottery jackpot. Who wants to be 16 again in this world? According to the lottery pamphlet you can't do anything that would alter the future in any meaningful way. You can't win a lottery jackpot someone else was recorded as winning nor reduce their jackpot by winning a draw that would have rolled over nor buy all of the first stock offerings of Apple and Microsoft, etc. everything must be in moderation. You can buy a max of 1% of any stock or win a Pick-3 daily prize.

Why the heck would anyone want to be 16 again? You can't vote, you can't drink (legally), and you look like a kid trying too hard to be an adult.

With the money and a good plastic surgeon, you can look as young as you want. You are as young as you act, and if you are active and take care of yourself, you will always be young. I can tell you, I am hitting the big Five-Oh later this year, but I don't feel it, and I sure as heck don't act it

Why should sports work any better? Since you weren't there the first time around things will obviously be different the second time around. The only question is how different. Not that there's any way to be certain, but it's a pretty safe bet that things would be different enough that betting on sports would be far from a sure thing. General trends might be a pretty safe bet, so doing very well in the stock market might be very likely.

Seeing as I was 16 in 2002, going back in time would not do me any good. I also would not be able to afford the trip in the time machine because I am a measly college student. I would not be able to afford it next year either because, in all probability, I would be an underpaid Latin teacher.

Guess i'm one of those people who would rather not think about back then. I don't want to go back 1 year much less 30. if I would have used the knowlege I have now I would be in a higher income bracket, but chances are, I would have taken a totally different life path and not be as happy. Naw, i'd rather keep my age and take the current hope for a jackpot.

I would go back and be 16 again with my $100,000. I loved baseball. I would stay in Baseball and make my millions. I would retire at 40 and move to Northern Michigan, somewhere around Harrietta, open my own business and enjoy everything to the fullest. No wants or needs, just the Simple Life.
