Agree on the AC/ heater.

Re: Mowing, yeah, it comes around quick, makes it an exercise in futility. For me it's just not too relaxing when it's hot and humid and your clothes are sticking to you.

Not much, but...

Never again...

-Keep AC/heater at somewhat uncomfortable temperatures in order to cut costs.

-Have to worry about credit card/student loan payments.

As per your part about not having to mow, I actually enjoy mowing. It's strangely calm and relaxing. It would be nice though to not have to do it EVERY time though.

That's what you get for having a Lazboy. Should have gotten a Han snip and Moore instead.

I sold a Lazboy to a guy once,(actually twice), and he returned them because he said it made his legs fall asleep. I asked him if it did it while he was reclining, and he said no, only when he just sat in it. So I asked him how much did he just sit in the chair without reclining, and he said he reclined all the time!!!!!!!?????

Last night, I ran 5 playslips. I knew I played the winning number when Illinois posted last nights numbers. 750.

OMG, the cashier ran one of my playslips twice, and the one she didn't run, had the winning pick 3 number.

Live in a small town with a university. A community college maybe, but never again a university. The townspeople really get tunnel vision about it, the town becomes a one industry town, and like some snowbird communities in Florida, the population doubles during part of the year.

Never again have to wake up to an alarm clock! - if I won a jackpot I might choose to set an alarm for a special occasion (make an early morning flight to a wonderful destination or to make an appointment) .... but I really hate the darn things

I accomplished one of my major never agains when I retired: Never again sitting in rush-hour traffic in a big city. There's not many things I hate more than sitting in stop and go traffic.

My next one is never again relying on an outside source or paying anybody for electric when I get completely off the grid.

I know one thing I surely would like to avoid doing is going with out a need...like food, electricity and as you mentioned medical care.

I remember on summer my parents couldn't pay the electric bill because my mom got ill and we had to live out of a cooler and grill our food outside...which was awful...no one should ever have to go without basic needs.

I will say this...in general people are stupid and people with money equals super-stupid...not everyone will end up in a bad place after a huge win...but it could happen if they stop focusing on the things money can't buy...like love, kindness and their own creativity.

Yes money will solve all my problems, because they happened because of a lack of money...so I agree with you on many levels.

I just hate seeing people get a little money and think they are better than everyone else.

I agree with you that life is uncertain at times, but a vast amount of cash only helps deal with those uncertain times with confidence. Like I've said many times before, I'm spiritual by nature, but we live in a material world, and unfortunately, money rules. Never say never...you can think a lotto jackpot win could mean never again ...but life is uncertain no matter how much money you have...don't focus on the negative...keep a positive flow going...focus on what you want and not on what you don't want...giving attention to negative things in your life...the never again... isn't going to help you.

Thanks lottocalgal, and I hear you on the financials. My last ppst in the Army was Monterey, Ft. Ord. I remember going to work with less than a dollar and being in a grocery store one night to get a literl of UP, which costs 17 cents at the time, and I also needed a colored markert but it was too close to payday to get both.

Pitiful.

But I do miss those summers in Monterey
