Well, I gave the links to the avatar instructions previously and fee319 still could not get it. So I decided a different approach might help.

Taking the URL from the image on the homepage and applying it to the avatar works, doesn't it? I mean that is correct

Totally no need to use the homepage feature just for changing an avatar. Use the Add or Change Avatar page (in the Options menu), which includes a Browse button that directly opens the Image Manage for uploading the avatar. Read all instructions that appear on each page.

Only you can access your homepage - I can't. So my instructions are rather limited. Try going to your homepage and right clicking on the image you want for an avatar. Choose properties. Get the URL. Use that in the avatar setup links I posted. That's about all I can offer.
