Fate? Is it really?

So is there really such thing as fate?

Is one ticket really all it takes if you are meant to win?

Any good examples or advices on that subject?

There was a story in a Canada a couple of years ago about a family, having a really rough time making their ends meet, gathering around a table one night, and after having held their hands together for a few minutes, coming up with a winning lotto combo that same night.

Which makes you wonder...
