When you consider that billions of combinations are played every year in jackpot style games and there are only a handful of winners, it's doubtful anyone could jinxes themselves or improve their luck by their actions other than buying tickets. Games change, yes....there's a rule in casinos if something comes up that hasn't happened before, and the rule is, If it's to the advantage of the house it's OK.

Can a shooter on a dice table who is shooting from the Don't pick up his bet before the point is made or a 7-Out? In some Vegas casinos they will let them, once. The reasoning is since they were on the Don't and got past the come out roll, sure let them pick up their bet.

The onoly game I recall being taken out of the casinos, other than those that were experimental, was Faro. Except for the last few cards at the end of the game Faro had no house edge, that's why they dropped it.

Well, the guy with the Keno ticket not only did not do pirouettes, take his ticket across Ftemont Street to the Four Queens and rub it on the statue of Ho Tai, but like I said, he was p. o'.d about having to come in for the meeting. Tell you what, DD. We had a guy hanging out in our asino that had it all figured out. He too was of the chool of poisitive thinking and would tell us how a person with the right frame of mind could really makde it in Vegas.

As time went on, what he was doing was kind of a check kiting scheme but with markers. He'd take a marker out in one caino to pay one off in another. got it on for awhile, too. What he didn't realize was these casino bosses knew each other.

We had a bartender in one of the places I worked that had absolutely horrible luck. His name was Lenny, Lucky Lenny (yeah, right) and Lenny the Loser . Employees could play in this casino and he had a whole repetoire he went through.....make his bets, watch the dice, and then : Twenty years in this place and I can't win a bet! There was a movie about a guy like you. I think it was called The Cooler or something like that.

It was about a guy who worked for a casino who the management would send out to give bad luck to people who were winning too much at the tables.

I came to the University of Georgia in the fall of 2008, when Georgia had the #1 football team. Since, they fell out of the rankings. Georgia baseball had a similar fate since I have come here. People who brag about Winning the Jackpot are so annoying because, although we all understand that being positive is a good thing, tooting your own trumpet so loudly that no one else can hear themselves think is unbecoming.
