Rosie my informative point was to illustrate that lard ain't that bad. The toughest part of the assembly of the dog is getting the tortilla rolled into a crunchy tortilla chip shell tube approx. 5/8 inch diameter. We are thinking of wrapping the unfried tortilla shell onto steel heating rods to toast them into the roll form so they can be filled with chili con carne and not have it soak into the tortilla with the dog around it and soften the shell and break off in your hand. My chili con carne is cooked and INSIDE the tortilla inside the chorizo dog inside the soft fried corn batter. Each bite gets soft fried corn batter first, then chorizo dog, then crunchy tortilla stick roll with a spicy chili con carne finish. Nothing frozen or fallin' off, all edible

Sounds like my chili con carne corn dog on a tortilla stick! A delicious chorizo style dog stuffed w/ spicy chili con carne impaled on a tortilla stick, then dipped in corn batter and deep fried to delicious perfection. Totally edible nothing left to clean up! Starvin Marvins and 7/11's will be lining up to replace the dry crusty o' so yesterday taquitos and gnarley big bites

If I knew anybody I'd be over there right now getting funding for my Chili-Pop idea. It's frozen Chili on a stick with oyster crackers stuck all over it.

I'm having a little trouble with the crackers falling off right now and the beans come loose and fall off too. I just need a little capital to get the bugs worked out of the manufacturing process and fine-tune the whole thing.
