I wondered about that too. If they change the matrix to make it harder, or increase the cost of a ticket to $2 (without a megaplier/powerplay) I think they would just have 2 draws a week. If they make it too expensive or too hard to win (like it's not too hard now, LOL), there is the risk of people just moving on to games with lower odds and jackpots.

pb is already maxed out to 59, are they going to extend it further? the risk is could be extremely large jackpots and wearing off players (not that this is not already happening with pb) they can not allow extremely large jackpots to occur as they could in theory go bust, a delicate balance between the odds/pay off and psychology

I was just reading the minutes of the last meeting of Tx Lottery Commissioners, and saw that the Exec Director, Gary Grief took a trip to Idaho this month and had a discussion with members of the PB and MM cross selling execs about what steps to take toward a national game. It's still very premature, and only in the talking stage, but I thought this was interesting.
