I have heard that you should buy the tickets when they are down to the last roll. or last few tickets. I would like to go around to different Stores and buy $50 bucks worth. a few here and a few there but only purchase the ones that is close to the end. Haven't won anything lately off of them.

Although I do not have any wins nearly that large, I can agree to that. I have won $40 on one of the newest $5 games, Kings and Queens, and I have only bought 5 tickets, altogether. It has only been out about a week, the best I can tell. Not getting rich yet, but it is a good sign. Holiday Gifts and 2010 Jingle Jumbo Bucks are relatively new games, and Jack-O-Lantern Cash was new when I won $100 at it.

My new highest is $150 on Holiday Gifts, a $5 game. I have also won $75 and $40 on it as well. I have won $100 and $50 on the $10 game, Jingle Jumbo Bucks. I have won $40 on a new $5 game, Kings and Queens. My highest win on Giant Jumbo Bucks is $25, so far. I have won $16 on Fall Into The Money, a $3 game, and $15 on Jumbo Bucks Classic, a $2 Game. Note that as a general rule, when the ticket price goes up, usually the payout does as well.

I sure am lucky I got that $100 on Cash Fever - the game stinks right now. It was proven by looking at all the losers in the waste basket - #15-23 all lost. 3.24 odds X 2.5 = 8.1, so they are doing the supposed maximum of 9 losers. Then #25 and #26 lost. Not good.

I am in GA also, but up north. 25,000.00: you can buy 10 really nice guns for that price, heck, you could even afford to give me one. Either that or about 20 good guns. From what I understand, larger winning instants (usually $1000 or more) are given back to the

retailer that sold them after they are claimed/paid. Kind of a look what a lucky retailer I am

kind of thing.

It's been that way for as long as I can remember with the Illinois lottery.

Just curious, why does the gas station have the wnning ticket? Do the winning tickets get mailed back to the store after the winner cashes it in?

In FL, anything over $599 has to get cashed in at the lottery office. They kept my tickets the last 3 times I went in their, especially on my big one. I really wanted to keep the ticket where I won a top prize, but they woudlnt give it to me

Back in April of this year, I won $10,000 on the Illinois Lotteries $5 $75,000 Crossword instant. The ticket

is still taped to the lottery machine at the Shell station where I won it. I may ask the owner if I can

have it when he takes it down.... I buy enough tickets there. I'll post it here if he does.

BTW, when I cashed it in, after taxes, it came to $7,200. 25% federal, 3% state.
