I only play quickpicks for the Cash 5 on nights there is no big lotto drawing. I do so because I have a certain set of numbers for the big games that I visualize. I can't use those same numbers for Cash 5 because the number pool is quite limited.

I don't want to confuse my subconscious mind or the Universe by visualizing 2 different sets of numbers.

It is easier to read with capitals and by not using capital letters at the beginning of sentences deters one from wanting to read and understand your thought process. I think the only way to really compile it is day by day or drawing by drawing, but to do so for multiple states and games would indeed be a total nightmare.

But if people did pick a game and track it drawing after drawing for at least a year they might see some consistency as far as what wins.

As a systems player my goal was always to win the jackpot, but my play was designed to win enough from secondary prizes to cover the cost of play. I play mostly my own picks, but will occasionally play a QP with them. Why? Just because. It's a lottery . There is no right way or wrong way to play.

The main reason I play my own picks is not because I think I can crack a code . It's because I enjoy looking at the numbers in past draws and try to pick what will come out in the next draw. So while I'm trying to hit a jackpot, it's entertainment for me to work the numbers.

The game I play most often is a Pick 5 because there's a drawing every day and I believe that in one's lifetime they might actually hit a pick 5. The Illinoos Pick 5 gets hit every two to three days. I'm just curious.......then why would you pound a thread about why people play quick pickes with dissertations about playing self picks.

As for And CT don't get me wrong, I'm sorry CT if I've been a a$$4ole, we'vecollaborated on a thread with QP's etc., but I got tired of nonwinning QP's back in 07'. Never been productive with QP's for mybudget etc...

I don't know but I think you come to LP not to talk about QP's stats. but on how to do better than QP's. You can play a dollar a draw until you die and not hit for $3! I started looking at some of the methods people were and are using and starting hitting using a combo of methods, better than QPs ever did. I know the feeling of getting close to the big one.

nope, wrong again DD. there have been several over the years, even though we are far outnumbered.

i have been at LP 8 years trumpeting the same ballpark things coin has been saying lately about quick picks, so i too am a single-minded QPer . i fact, i used to make sure that when people first vistited LP, and stated that they had the means to crack it, i did what i am good at........made em prove it. of course, none could.

the problem with quick picks is that, if you get a: 5/5 + 0 you can almost say that you will NEVER get another approximation you will never get close enough again so you may as well QUIT....

the best thing is to pool...If pooling was legal in all states most people will pool than play quick picks...

I have nothing to prove about QP's, you are correct, more people play QP's, more people win with QP's, MOST people LOSE with QP's. Nobody is afraid of results, I've spent enough on QP's to know that most money is LOST on QPs you broken frinking record. Get high speed internet.

There is only one dyed in the wool QP r here and we need his bad luck to keep the pot up.

We are diversified and understanding of people of different demographics ( even when they are wrong). If he wants to rub his hairless QP rabbits foot to the bone, let him. We must understand that the QP rs 'only' crowd makes our lives that much more a victory dance under the goalpost.

Hey Stack I'm glad you chimed in on this. Let us not forget the proportion of LOSING QP's to losing self pix is much greater. Let me reiterate, the largest losing block of tickets that comprise the jackpot roll-overs are LOSER QP's. It doesn't matter what jackpot game you are talking about. I don't care how much anyone spends on tix it ain't yo or my biz, but the jackpot size and the racket which is QP's and RNG does affect us all.

It depends on what we're judging. If the contest is Bonus Match 5 than Patrick did show us the potential of choosing the numbers and playing a wheel. On the other hand CT has shown that over 70% of the tickets sold are QPs.

The only real comparison that can be made is the amount being spent on the tickets. When somebody pays for gas or something else and buys a couple of QPs with the change, there is no comparison to spending $26 or more for a wheel. I wouldn't be too far off by saying 65% of... [ More ]

I know it couldn't relate to taxes for people making under $250,000 because the President is cancelling Bush's tax cuts on January 1st and everybody's taxes are going to skyrocket. The lowest tax bracket of the working poor which is 10% now is being raised 50%. The working poor are getting the biggest increase in tax percentage paid.
