RJOh, the last matrix change occurred in June 24, 2005 when California join the Mega Millions game. This current matrix is 5/56+1/46.

Okay since 2002 there has been 117 winning tickets. That averages out to 13 winning tickets a year.

For most of us winning is just a dream because the odds are astronomical. But looking at the statistics of how many people win each year it doesn't seem that far fetched. And yet we are all disappointed when we look at our tickets after the drawing.
