i was at my local winndixie yesterday buying tickets as normal seeing if anyone had hit big since i was last there, you know the normal box with the 15 or so rolls of tickets, and the instant vending machine, so within 15 minutes i watched an old lady buy 3 bbb and lost withing 5 min she then went back and got three 20 monopoly lost and bought 5 cruise for cash lost all 5 and bought 4 10$bonanzas lost them all so shes down like 165. theres 1 bbb left on the roll an i figured that the odds where

Well I took a week off and thought I would buy some tickets and see what happens.

I bought 10 of the new $5 Cruise for Cash scratcher. This scratcher is advertised as the best odds of any $5 scratcher on the Florida Lottery website. Out of the 10 I bought, I won $5 back on 2 and all the rest were losers. Some good odds huh? Lost $40. I guess they are holding back the good winning tickets to pay for the second chance drawing for the cruises.

Beware of this scratcher folks.

Maybe you guys should consider (if you're going to buy 2 or 3 $20 tickets at a time) buying the same tickets... from the same roll... Odds would be a lot better. you would increase your odds of winning... say $100 from 1:30 (sample only) to 1:10. Just something to consider.

I give up on the Florida Lottery scratchers for a while. They are simply ripping off the players right now. This morning at Publix I bought 1 Billion Blockbuster, 1 Gold Rush and 1 Monopoly. Again all losers. For the week I lost $240 all from buying $20 scratchers with the best odds. Not 1 ticket even brought even all week. I will wait until I start hearing of people actually winning something before I begin again.

Looks like someone just claimed a top prize on Gold Rush $500,000.

FL Lottery site showed 4/11 left yesterday and now shows 3/11 remaining. Not sure where it was purchased yet as the site doesn't say.

Looks like I'm gonna have to switch my strategy and play a different game for a little bit

Bought 3 Gold Rush (throughout the day), a Bill Dollar Blockbuster, 200 a year for life. All $20 scratchers

Won $100 on last one of the day (1st ticket in roll 000) lost on the rest. At least I broke even.

I think Im going to lay back on the scratchers for a while anmd stick to my fantasy 5 plan and see how that comes up. I think the numbers games are al about being viligant persistant.

In California, they state right on the ticket how many are maximum jackpot winners, and also how many are minor amount winners (usually $25.00) Our state being huge, we can't expect to walk in and buy one of those 'biggies' each time. I posted a blurb about retailers scratching their own tickets (or, at least their employees doing so.) in the Scratcher thread. You may have a similar situation where you purchase yours.

I saw that on the FL lottery website B$Rizzle... right in my neck of the woods lol. Gonna try a ticket from Bonita Springs tomorrow. You would think there is a 200 Million Spectacular top prize in circulation.... it is so overdue. I stay away from that one though... never won a dime on it.

btw, a Naples man just claimed $1 Mill winner yesterday on the BBB so there probably wont be a Billion Dollar Bloackbuster Top prize winner for a little bit. But you never know sometimes there could be back-back top prize winners.

With scratchers I'm convinced the winners are strategically placed in areas where there aren't many online game winners. In Florida that means everything north of Miami.

My game is Blockbuster, but I won't buy it unless I'm on the road. I bought 2 in Stuart last weekend. One was a stinker and the other won $100.

I think I will stop buying the Monopoly as I am not getting anything worthwhile, if anything at all from it. Blockbuster fair but Gold Rush has been pretty good lately.

Snapped a 6 ticket losing streak on the $20 tickets tonight. Got the $$ and won $25 on the Blockbuster. I think I will stick with this game... go big or go home right?

The big prizes are out there. I think they are spacing the time out between releases of the big winners out to the public though.

I agree the $20 are tight this year. That is all I buy and the $30 when they had that. Last year I won 500 numerous times on gold rush, this year can't hit more than 100.00 on blockbuster, monopoly and can't even come close to a winner on gold rush. However, when I went to the lottery office yesterday to buy my tickets (in Fort Myers) there was a woman cashing in a 20,000.00 winner on Blockbuster. so they are out there but I must be on a major losing streak

I certainly know how frustrating that is...I've played $200 million spectacular, 100k for life, gold rush, lotteria and most I've won is $15 twice. WORST of all I bought SIX $3 crosswords for my comrades and we ALL lost. If it weren't for the$15 winners I would think I was still in TN!

Stopped by a different Publix to buy some tickets today. After a bad week I thought I would buy a few extra tonight and as always only buying tickets with the best odds (according to the FLA Lottery site).

I bought 2 Gold Rush $20, 2 Monopoly $20 and 2 Billion Blockbuster $20.

Yea the second chance games are bad news imo. The $10 lucky for life game at least had some decent winners in there when it was first released. The Monopoly seems to be your lucky game!

I have won on all 4 tickets in a row from the same roll and then again I bought 4 in a row off a roll and lost all of them. It is so random there is no way to tell.

Last night results. Bought 1 Monopoly $20, 1 Blockbuster $20, 1 Gold Rush $20 and 1 Lucky for Life 100,000 $10. Monopoly won $25 back all others losers. Net loss for the day $45

I gave up on the football $5 scratchers almost all losers, no where near making the odds they claim exist.

Last night I bought 4 of the Tampabay Bucs $5 tickets, 1 Billion Blockbuster $20 and 1 Monopoly $20. Results were 3 out of 4 Bucs tickets losers. 1 Bucs ticket won $10. Billion Blockbuster loser. Monopoly won $30. So lost $20 for the day in the end.

I've bought over 300 Triple Bingo's in the past month and the highest I've gotten on one ticket is 21$. The odds of getting 21$ is 1 in 100 and I've gotten it about 10 times. The odds of getting 40 or 50$ is about 1 in 500, I haven't gotten that even once. Even though the Triple Bingos have terrible odds once it goes past 50$, I still enjoy them mainly due to the extended play and suspense. You are correct about the Blockbuster being difficult to scratch. What's up with that?

Yesterday I bought 2 Blockbusters and 1 Monopoly $20. 1 Blockbuster I won $25, the other 2 tickets were losers. Not off to a good start this week. I am going to closely watch the results every day this week and see how I end the week.

The only reason I don't like the Blockbusters is because they are very difficult to scratch. You would think they'd put more $100 winners in there ... that is a good strategy to buy from different stores (especially if you've won from that store recently) and to set a maximum amount to spend a day. You are a very smart player.

I bought numerous $20 Lucky 200,000 year scratchers when it first came out but was getting all losers so I stopped buying them. I have been sticking with Billion Blockbuster since I had good wins from it last year and the $20 Monopoly since odds are great. Unfortunately not having any luck this year. Must be buying them in the wrong place at the wrong time as I am playing the tickets with the best odds and limit myself to no more than 4 tickets per day, usually 3 though.

Have you tried the $20 Lucky 200,000 a year for life ticket? I don't think anyone has won in a while on that ticket. There was recently a 1 million dollar prize claimed for Blockbuster and I believe a 500,000 prize claimed for Monopoly.

I am just curious if anyone is winning any decent amounts off the Florida lottery scratchers this year? I buy only $10 and $20 scratchers. Last year I won $500 several times, $1,000 twice. This year so far I am lucky to win anything above $30 and usually getting non-winning tickets. I mainly buy the Billion Blockbuster and Monopoly, 3 or 4 per day.
