I FEEL THAT THIS PERSON KNOWS WHAT HE OR SHE IS DOING. I BELIEVE THAT THE SAME PERSON THAT HIT THE MEGA MILLIONS 5 TIMES SELF PICK ALSO HIT THE TAKE 5 FIVE TIMES AT THE SAME PLACE USING SELF PICK. The mega millions winner already came forward except for the person that hit the $250k 5 times using self pick. Sounds to me like one guy just had 5 white balls he knew he wanted but couldn't decide on the Megaball so he chose 5 different ones.

He's got either a good system or good intuition or his birthday numbers finally came through for him.

Based upon how The New York Lottery has posted winners in the past, only one QP was sold at the Seven Eleven in Suffolk County.

I doubt there was a terminal malfunction. Keep you eye on NY's lottery website. Check recent winners under Lottery News. It should eventually have a picture of the winner along with the back story of their win.

Sounds like it does say all are QPs. I wonder if the lottery will refuse to pay them based on a malfunction of the terminal

if 8 people from the same area won a $100, this wouldn't be news, but here's my guess.....

i call it the lucky hanger :

it's a stuck combination given by the terminal...amazingly, it paid off for several people in one area.

it's common to get multiple rows of numbers with at least two matching combos on each line when using quick picks:

ex. ) A. 1-31-42-29-38 - 20

B. 1-31- 16-25-35 - 7

in this rare case, this particular terminal was fixated or stuck on the same FIVE... [ More ]

Seem like some system player may have gotten close enough to get a 5+0 five times but couldn't come up with the correct bonus number and probably a QP players won with a lucky ticket which some will say proves that observing previous drawings and developing a system to pick your lottery numbers doesn't work.

The mega millions jackpot was won in brooklyn new york using quick pick, i don't find anything out of this world with that. WHAT I DON'T UNDERSTAND IS HOW CAN SOMEBODY WIN A SECOND PRIZE 5 TIMES AT THE SAME STORE WITHOUT USING QUICK PICK IN BROOKLYN TOO. Maybe the person that won the jackpot using quick pick won those 5 prizes too. BROOKLYN HIT MEGA MILLIONS REALLY GOOD ON THIS ONE.I CAN'T WAIT FOR THE WINNERS TO COME FORWARD.
