You're looking at lottery revenues by combining all the state lotteries into one National lottery and assuming all the states would pool their profits. And you're not considering how each state lottery began. Each state had to specify where the lottery profits would go to get a majority of the voters to pass their lottery incentives and education was the logical choice.

What I love about North Carolina, is how it's called an educational lottery . The web address even has it in it:

However, what I find ironic is that the money that goes into education from the lottery, actually takes money away from education. Basically, for math simplicity, let's say that the lottery makes $100,000 for education. rd, you know I have a pet-peeve with us wimmins showing of the pitted part of the arms anyway; I never understood why, is not like it's the most attractive part of the arm, now you are talking badly about the canadiens wimmins pits, well, that's what the wimmins get for showing off arm pits!!! hairy or not, in the first place

Also, i dont know if the, USA wanted to do this or could do this...But the usa could also build more rail system: 100 of them in foreign countries: generating for itself: $50 Billion dollars and 50 ports in other countries generating for itself: $100 Billion dollars a year...Like Canada or countries who cant afford it...

The USA will had had: $150 Billion dollars PER year...Money that could be use to help foreign countries, like Foreign: AID....There are smart way to do things, YOU KNOW....

So 20 x 2 = $40 Billion dollars the USA will had made....With it construct: 300 rail system at a cost of: $1 billion each...The rail system will had generated for the, USA: $500 MIllion each so it will had been:

Why the state chose lottery money to go into education fund [a lot or most states]....

Some many projects the, USA got, education is a last subject you will pour funds into...It could had gone into highway/road infracstruture, pet projects, many projects, build new ports, build new rail systems, built new subways, WHY they chose education...
