If the numbers have a space, comma, tab are something separating them click on the Data ribbon

then text to column, read and pick out the information needed for your number, separated by ??

Click next until you get each number in a separate column. Work with it, it s the easiest way to do

what you want

If your Pick 4 Combination is in cell E20

Place this formula in cell K20 =INT(E20/1000)

Place this formula in cell L20 =INT((E20-(K20*1000))/100)

Place this formula in cell M20 =INT((E20-((K20*1000)+(L20*100)))/10)

Don't know what Excel version you have, but try TEXT to Columns

I have a four digit number in a cell. I wish to break that four digit number down into four individual digits, putting each individual digit in it's own column/cell. I know there is a formula for this but I can't seem to find it. Will anyone help me?
