It could be that the FL lottery had over 150,000 tickets that they didn't sell for thier last raffle...

Maybe being the second highest ranking state for foreclosures and high unemployment, has the lottery wuz up?

This year they have raised all of the odds and lowered the number of payouts on the scratch off tickets and have come up with new games that promise to pay millions and that hasn't happened yet!

People aren't stupid, they will gamble elsewhere.

Maybe players are just starting to see through raffles.

In Illinois it's 500,000 tickets, 509 winners...which leaves 499,491 losers.

The hype is it's the best chance to win a million, which is true, BUT, it's a million for a $20 ticket, not a $1 ticket.

In a jackpot game with a solo winner, the $1 wins multi-millions.

In a raffle game a ticket that wins $1 million breaks down to each dollar of the 20 winning $50,000.

0.001018% winners.

0.998982% losers
