the indirect command would seem to be what you need. I'm not real clear on what you want to do so help is limited. you can google excel and indirect command to see examples of how to use it.

say I got 25 sets of pairs and each set of pairs have got a code for them like 9 = 65 or 32 or say 5 = 04 or 97 so what I want to do is be

able to type the 9 in a cell and it would come up with the 65 in a cell and 32 in another cell I don't want the pairs and its code to be seen on the master sheet.

i want the master sheet cell A1 you would type in the 9 and it spits the 65 32 out in the cell b2 b4

Would like to be able to type in one cell say A1 =2

Then in a 2nd sheet I would have say 2= 96 30 in a cell to look for

so when I type in themain sheet in A1 = 2 then in cell b3 = 96 b4 =30
