Interesting discovery...was just going back in CO Cash 5 history for my brother-in-law and found 41 jackpots using the string. If you wheel them here on LP, that's 14 numbers and 2002 combos. (Try this with your game) Break them down into 10 sets....1-10, 11-20, 21-30 etc. and number them.

These are the Sets that hit--

Correction here...whenever a winning String pops your odds are 1/436 of getting the right set of 10 lines with the Jackpot numbers.

All together your odds are 1/80,261 at anytime instead of 1/575,757.

LoL,yep somebody's watchin! I know I stated 9 jackpots for IL. Went back and saw that 4 Spots hit 156 times and 3 spots 484 times from the string. I know we can find a better one for you...stay tuned

By next year I should have all my research done to guide you to a winning string. The one I posted might not necessarily be the best for your state even though it has produced many many jackpots. Out of the 210 strings I'm working with.....they hit a jackpot daily somewhere. And jim is on the right track breaking it down like that. For Louisiana Easy 5 (5/37) for 2010 only; the following 12 number string had 19 match3, 3 match4, and 7 match5. So roughly 3 out of 10 draws you would cash money if you picked the right combo out of possible 792 combos. In other words for 10 draws in 2010 you would have reduced your odds to 1 in 792 for a match4 or match5 if you played this string exclusively.

For 2010 only (i.e. draws from 5821 and on) for California Fantasy 5 the following 13 number string had 55 match3, 11 match4, and 10 match5. So roughly 1 in 5 draws this 13-number string was a winner if you picked the right combos out of the possible 1287 combos.

P/S...Using the Lotto Pro 2009 last year I was hitting pick 3 and pick 4 at least 8-10 times a month. With the Lotto Pro 2010 I have yet to hit 1 number....lol.......Something must have changed........

Actually I only used Buckeye5 and Rolling Cash5 as an example of what I could do. Rolling Cash5 has 2127 drawings/records which is more data than some of the smaller programs I use can handle. I do however combine all four matrix changes in my PowerBall file since the last matrix change was only 201 drawings back.

I use the same file format for all the games I track: YR MO DA N1 N2 N3 N4 N5 N6 N7

For PowerBall, N6 is XX where there is a matrix change so I only search that file back to that... [ More ]

Aha! Well that makes perfect sense. Just bought the new version so that explains it. Thanks for clearing that up! Boy, an awful lot of games have sure changed their matrix. Must've been having too many winners,lol,so they have to keep making it more difficult for us.

Calif's had 38 since the beginning of the game. Why they have the complete history of this game and not others is beyond me.

If you have ever looked at LottoPro data files using a text editor then you know that each file has a description of its data at its beginning so every time the matrix changes a new data file is started. You may have the older data on your computer but an updated version of LottoPro can't find it unless you type in the old description of the older file. That's one of th... [ More ]

Coin Toss,I ran these numbers through LottoPro's search data and unfortunately they don't go back very far with the results...only to 2004. Since then only 9 jackpots have shown using that string. Which isn't very much compared to some of the other state's data I've taken a look at.

Nino...FLA's showing 28 Jackpots from the string since 2001. Again, the data doesn't go back to the beginning so guess you'd have to go back yourself to count up the rest.

Using your string for the Illinois Little Lotto from Dec 1 to Dec 16 shopws one hit for 4 of 5, $100 (Dec 2), five hits for three of five $10 each, and seven hits for two of five, $1 break even.

Dec 9 and 14 were the only drawings when none of the numbers in the string showed.

The string is 15 of the 39 numbers, or 38.46% of them, but I have to say NOT BAD

Yes,RJoh,you're correct. Each game does have it's own string and is wheeled accordingly. I'm just generalizing here and mainly focusing on 5/39, though the smaller games are wheeled within their game field.

Thanks you two for your interest :) In my research these past 2 years (2009 and 2010) I've found this string of numbers to produce 142 Jackpots for games with 30 to 39 numbers without a Bonus Ball. It can range between 12, 13, 14 and 15 numbers depending on your game.

For instance--

PA's Treasure Hunt (the first 12 numbers)

MN Northstar (the first 13)

Wisconsin Badger (the first 13)

CO Cash 5 (the first 14)

Everyone else (the whole 15)

Let me see what you have for Illinois Little Lotto. I usually play QPs (see the Illinois Little Lotto Jackpots 2010 thread in this forum and consider the results so far YTD) but I fdo have a couple of fallbacks :

It just seems 12 and 15 run together, the others, sometimes

and

2 4 15 29 31

Just because I like the game of cribbage and those are cribbage numbers.

Sometimes I get tired figuring out my numbers. How about you? Wouldn't one set of 10 lines do you for life ? Look at the Arizona teacher who just won the PowerBall. 6 1/2 years she played the same numbers. I'm a big believer in sticking with the same numbers. So...on that note...who wants their set of 10 lines? The more I get out there the better chance of someone hitting a Jackpot. This is from my own String System that works time and time again.
