The #2 repeated 3 times in a row, all you have to do is pick two numbers right.

what two numbers would you pick for the 11th number?

Each number does not have an equal chance of hitting because the numbers represent categories(groups).

To eliminate the #2 from the choice I would base that judgement on reviewing a longer history. My choice would also be based on what type of numbers are in the group.

I understand where you are both coming from, you only gain $260....The question about the cash has to do with the question about picking two out of three numbers I asked.

The number #2 has hit three times in a row, you have to basically rule out one number out of #1, #2, and #3; Thus, choosing two numbers right.

#2 has a 39% chance of hitting

#3 has a 7% chance of hitting

No. To take a phrase from poker, the pot ain't right .

The pot in this case is $900, and $640 of it is yours. A net gain of $260 would be nice, but one loss and you're playing catch-up football. To me the idea of playing lotto isn't to bet more to win less.
