I live in an itty bitty town and thats where i buy 99% of my tickets. Super nice people and, as proven, very honest

I guess I stole half your money by buying my winning ticket on Sunday, my bad.

That was nice though that he saved it for you. Did he have your name written on the actual ticket or was it like a sticky note or something? Would have been crazy if it won and you figured you lost, then found out once you went in on Wednesday (or whenever after Tuesday) that you actually did win. That'd make a pretty crazy story.

on saturday morning (new years day) i went down to my usual little gas station and bought a few Mega Millions tickets. Went back for the first time since then, and the owner lit up and said, 'I have something for you'

ok...

i guess i had left one little ticket behind when i bought them saturday, and the clerk placed it to the side with my name on it. Mike, the owner, went back to his office and got it for me.
