1. Create a new folder and name it whatever you like

Yes. 2 Virginia eve ldr's at 40+/40+ draws. I believe New Mexico had a 40/40 earlier this week and hit the next day when the 2nd ldr was at 40. Virignia is acting strange. If the 2nd ldr gets past 40 (41 or 42) just let it go. No telling when it will hit.

What we have in Va eve with the 2 missing Ssums out 62 and 46 draws .....

...... is like 2 missing digits out 22.9 draws...and 17 draws.

Still, an unusual amount of skips... even for digits ..... just not as impossible.

For me,... it is just more comfortable to think about this way.

I seem to revert back to my old rookie days when I think about certain skip rates for certain stats like these.

Va Eve....... 2 sums skipping for a very long time. Too long ...?

Virginia Eve short sums 2 and 6........still trucking along I see. Hmmm

This is a strange thing within Pick 3 that always made me scratch my head then.....and now. But, this is not as strange as I thought it was.

SSum 2 is now skipping 62 days.......and SSum 6 still out at46 draws.

Interesting to see how long Virginia Evening draws keep going past the 40+ / 40+ levels.

It's hard to find states that reach this level when 2 LDR's reach 40+ skips each.

Wow Steve ..... great filters demo. Shows excellent filter flexibilty and the ability to taylor them using current stats ....not just same old static lines.

How ? We know how skipping digits act on a day to day or week to week hit average right? It is so second nature to us by now. The short sums are something we assume should act the same way .....but they obviously don't. The new chart should help with that. Just thinking of the short sums in the right way has helped me alot.

Could someone that programs excell create a search file in their sum last digit tracking to look for any mixture of sum last digit groups?

I have a search feature in my software but it has it's limitations on what it can do. I can not search a mixture of sum last digits unless they fall in my search feature categories.

Correction: On that 6 digit string hit rate average of 23.36 up there.

Note:

Where as ...a specific 6 digit string will hit on average of 23.36 times per year (365) ....... the average hit rate for a 6 digit string will actually be around 15.62 draws or around every16 days.

So, when a six digit string gets above 16 days on a skip...... it has then reached it's tipping point .....or average hit rate, and is now due for a hit.

By looking at those recent numbers next to the short sums..... 5 is out 24, 4 is out 13, 2 is out skipping 11.....etc... what is that telling you?

Do you see a tipping point there .....based on the total skips? I'm I just missing it?

It might be interesting to know how high of a skip ........any old 5 sums group can go .......in general.

What are the breaking points for such 5 sum groups....or 5 gates?

Right now in WV the top 5 skipping sums are ....7,4,9,3,8....... skipping 44,39,15,12,and 9.....total 119 days skipping for all 5.

What have been the normal average breaking points in past draws ......... for any such 5 sum group ? ......or 4,,or 3 ,,, etc.

Recent high skips for those sums are 46..and 53 .....so we have to be close ......if not right at it.

It's pretty nice when you can start using a 80% sums filter like this particular set up in WV. Thanks, this is interesting in several more ways than just the 50/50 sums filter it started with.

I noticed Indiana midday hit yesterday with 2 LDR's out 40 or more skips.

I ran the numbers for today but did not see anything interesting.

A couple states are getting close to the 40 + / 40 + (Gate 1 2) plateau.

It would be interesting to see how to narrow down the 200 picks from Indiana Midday draws if you were using the LDR 4 5

D.C. has an LDR 3 at 74 skips. It would seem that if a LDR reaches a high skip total for Gate 1 such as the D.C. Pick 3 game that the Gate 2 skip MUST reach 40 in order to play.

This is the Midday chart for Tuesday's Midday draws.

The LDR = Short Sum

Short Sum

Current Skip

So for example, Arkansas Midday in cell G7 you see LDR 7 - 19. So this would represent the Short Sum 7 and the current skip is 19.

The Short Sums are all sorted from highest skip (left) to lowest (or current skip) to the right.

I have 2 charts. One for the current drawing (right) and previous skip (left side).

I bolded the Gates 5 6.

I have all the data in a 264K CSV file. I haven't had time to incorporate it into an Excel page.

I just ran the program, took the text output into Excel and copied a portion to see if helped.

Logically, Shortsums can have the same effect as the first digit of a pick 3 number. Obviously its kinda hard to pick the first digit for str8 hits so I see Short-sums the same way regardless of the numbers order.

I don't if this helps in your research but this is what I've found. Ususally ldrs repeat in a 7 day period. What I do is I reveiw the last draws, see what ldr has not repeated in a 7da y period and play the numbers based on my workout that falls withing that ldr. Lately its been working for Ga cash 3. when you have a chance take a look at a list of draws with ldrs and see if you notice the same or similar pattern.

Counting the 10 Digits of the pick 3 or the 10 LDRs can be kind of hard, because maybe often you might or will have

Some digits with the very same count, that I have seen when I tried to count digits not LDRs, but might be the same for LDRs

There must be a way of breaking up ties or some ties, for example if LDRs 4, 8, 3 came exactly the same number of times

There are 10 last digits of a sum from 0 to 9 for example:

1 2 3 = 06 Sum = 06 Sum's Last Digit SLD, LDR, Short Sum of whatever.

The Pick 3 Sums are from 00 up to 29 = 28 Pick 3 Sums.

000 = 00 Sum = 0 LDR

Sum Last Digit (SLD) is the Grouping of the Units Position of the Long Sum.

Example:

SLD4: 004 013 022 059 068 077 112 149 158 167 239 248 257 266 338 347 356 446 455 699 789 888 (22)

Is a Composite of:

Sum 04: 004 013 022 112 (4)

Sum 14: 059 068 077 149 158 167 239 248 257 266 338 347 356 446 455 (15)

Sum 24: 699 789 888 (3

Not sure how to interpret your numbers as of now ....but it seems like it is using the 1-27 LONG sums chart instead of the1-10 Short Sums chart (some say LDR chart).

My orginal post was looking for a confirmation (in excel perhaps) ...... that the 5 Longest OUT or (skipping) Short Sums should be filtered out ....most of the time.

It is my contention that ..... although it is a 50/50 deal with 500 numbers in the 5 longest out short sums group... [ More ]

Use SLD as an Index to the Sum Chart:

Pick 3 SLD to Sum Cross-Reference:

SLD0=Sum 00 10 20

SLD1=Sum 01 11 21

SLD2=Sum 02 12 22

SLD3=Sum 03 13 23

SLD4=Sum 04 14 24

SLD5=Sum 05 15 25

SLD6=Sum 06 16 26

SLD7=Sum 07 17 27

SLD8=Sum 08 18

SLD9=Sum 09 19

Most Hits occur in the Sum 09 thru Sum 18 Range

How often ....or what percent of the time .......does the winning number each day come from the top 5 hitting Short Sums Group? In other words ......The 5 Hottest hitting short sums.

Or...do most hits come from the cold group

How often does the winning number .....come from the 5 highest skipping Short Sums. The 5 coldest hitting short sums.

The Last Digit Roots (LDR) for Texas looks like this:

1. Short Sum 8......out 35 days

2. 0......out 16 days

3. 4......out 11 days

4. 6......out 8 days

5. 5......out 5 days

7. 9......out 3 days

8. 3......out 2 days

9. 1......out 1 days

IF we track the 10 short sums (LDR's) hits each day ......and always arrange them in order from top to bottom.

The top being the short sum that is the most out by the number of skips.......

For example.

1. Short Sum 8......out 32 days

2. 7......out 24 days

3. 3 ...out 17 days

4. 2 .....out 8 days

5. 0.....out 6 days
