Hi all new member here from north central FL who just just caught the scratcher bug. After reading about $5 tickets and up having better odds went out and bought 10 tickets from 4 different stores results were good on 2 see pics. Should I stop or buy more lol

Very true..It's all a matter of right place at right time. Thats all there is to it.

All we can do as players is anticipate which game is due a winner and play those games. Hoping that the due winner actually is in our area at a store we play at.

I'm right here but all these wins in Tampa still seem out of reach. It's a pretty big area, I don't get in and around town as much anymore it seems. The winners have been in stores that I have not been in. 13,000 lottery retailers and need to find the winning roll, and then the winning ticket out of the 4 or 5 that I might purchase off of that roll. It has just got to happen, just have to be in the right place at the right time.

Not every store carries every ticket available. I think that Fla lotto has released too many tickets for vendors to stock. I've seen these now in a couple of stores now.

Yeah, sure. A hot roll is when you get consecutive OR near consecutive wins. The only way to know is to buy consecutive tickets and keep buying.

This is risky, because if it not a hot roll, you will suffer a loss. My policy is always to walk away from a win. so you may have bought a winning ticket with a $50.00 prize and not know that a $100.00 would be the next and $500.00 and so on and so on.

I have only encountered a hot roll once.

Hot rolls are rare, so beware.

Can I ask a general Question. How do you know when you hit a Hot Roll?

Yesterday I had 3 Str8 wins for a total of $115 and then got 10 more this morning and it Dried up, it only showed $30.00.

Check the vending Machines at Publix or Winn Dixie. They did not have it at the counter only in the machine.

Thanks for the Tip Luis. I purchased the rest of that roll early this morning and all it showed was $30.00 out of the 10 tickets.I did not post because I sont want to post a ticket everytime I win something. i will Just post the significant win. The rest of the roll was exactly 10 tickets from 010 to 000. I took my $30 and ran. I will stop playing scrathers for a few days as I will quit while I am ahead.

Unless its a hot roll, he's gonna lose (per the published odds). Don't forget that these new scratchers are to distract us from buying older scratchers. These new scratchers have LESS prize money compared to the older ones.

Bought 5 of these so far (2 different places) and won $10 on 1 of them.

I went to Publix last night to get some of these and the dude in front of me was cashing in $100 bux worth that he had just bought from the machine. He beat me to it =)

Then I saw him take most (if not all) of the winnings and buy from the exact same roll that he won the $100 on. He didnt scratch in the store so not sure if he won on the next ones or not.

Yes I know. I Lost $50 this morning then Spend $20 more this evening and won $115. I took my money and ran. I might buy 9 more tommorow with the $45.00 profit so that way if I dont win I break even but still have 9 more chances of striking something significant. Will keep you guys posted.

I'm just wondering because there was a time that PA put some okay ones in the beginning packs of new releases and you could

I bought $50 Dollars worth Today at my Local Publix after I heard it was new. The Lady at the counter said they came in today. Out of the 10 Tickets I purchased it had 3$5 Dollar Prizes. I Redeemed them and got 3 more and nothing. Maybe it was a Bad roll. I am new at this Scratcher thing so I am approaching it with much caution.
