Most state lotteries will allow a cancelation of those types of tickets within a certain time frame after purchase. Sounds like the cashier did not want to process it thru the cash register again.

Call your lottery. I could not find anything in the Tx site about cancelation. It might tell on a how to play pamphlet at the store.

This more than likely depends on the retailer.

Lottery rules do not override their business principles. And you are lucky she didn't collect before running the second ticket.

It does sound like she was making a snide remark to get back at you for trying to trick her. That's what you were doing.

Having her run a ticket, pay for it, and then asked for it to be voided and then asking her to run a second ticket and refuse to pay for it? Sounds like a trick.

After I bought the first ticket, I asked her to run another ticket, but I did not pay for the new ticket and she said she could void it. So she voided a ticket that I did not pay for, but she said she could not void a ticket that I did pay for. It seems to me she was unwilling to void, not unable. She clearly does not know what she is doing.

yes, pick 3 and pick 4 tickets can not be voided when they have been printed

i think that you can only void mega millions and powerball tickets

I was at the store today (in Texas) and I bought a ticket, but after I paid for the ticket, I realized that I chose the wrong numbers. I asked the cashier to void the ticket, but she told me I could not because I had already paid for the ticket.

Was she right
