Texas Cash 5 is 5/37 and the jackpot rarely gets to $25,000, usually is around $23,000. Now I play Pick 4 straight for $5. 10,000 to 1 odds for $25,000, and it's not parimutual.

Because the jackpot can get higher than FL's...Ours here caps at $250,000. When I was saying I should get GA pick 5 tickets, I was implying when the jackpot is bigger than FL's

Yeah it is. I didn't think it was too bad until I heard about the JP's in other Pick 5 games elsewhere. 5/5 is $20,000, 4/5 is $200, 3/5 is $10, and $2/5 is $1.

In addition, Colorado doesn't have a Pick 4 or Pick 3 either, which I wish it had. Though I read somewhere that the state was considering a Pick 3 but I haven't been able to confirm that.

Dayum that is a shame....

BTW - I checked out New Yorks Take 5 ...They play 1-39 balls. FL uses 1-36 Balls, so its actually easier in FL vs NY in terms of odds. NY should increase the jackpot size considering the odds =)

I guess FL has more people that play and we have a much higher payout due to more ticket sales..

I know it is a shame compared to florida jackpot size.But it is the easier game to win in new york for a $1 that pays on average $50k.MY LUCKY $5 DOLLAR BILL.
