Thanks for verifying the 'ut oh' in my previous post.

I think I'll play n extra ticket with two lines of numbers, the first will be the forbidden 1 2 3 4 5 with 6 as the Mega ball number, not hoping to win with it but using it as a key to generate a QP, messing with the terminal's 'mind' so to speak.

I did do something different today.

I bought 5 more tickets using an online number generator then filling the slip with those numbers. I couldn't access this site properly on my phone so I had to use another website's. The numbers they gave me were rather odd but I used them anyway because you never know what will be a winner.

I am going to do what I always do when the jackpot is this high. I'll spend my usual 20 dollars for the drawing on the March 25th. And if no one wins, I'll be spending 40 dollars for the March 29th drawing!

I only play when the cash amount is 100 million and then I spend 20 dollars per-draw! Now when it hits 200 million cash the money I spend goes up to 40 dollars per-draw.

If you buy a ticket, you're almost certainly not going to be a winner.

If you don't buy a ticket you're definitely not going to be a winner.

It's worth a buck or two or ten to me to be in that first group that has almost no chance of winning.

Now that the jackpot is over 300 million, I consider it obese. I have a multidraw ticket that covers my usual numbers Friday. I'll also get another line of my numbers and one quick pick. In January I actually got 4 tickets, the most I'd ever had. If it gets to the same range it was at in January, I may get a fourth ticket this time.

I was thinking about getting one of them mood rings that change color depending on your mood and then buying tickets only when it said I was in a good mood.

But then I remembered a bad experience I had with those rings.

I bought one for one of my wives one time so I could tell what kind of mood she was in before bothering to engage her in conversation.

I found out that if she was in a good mood the ring was blue and if she was in a bad mood it left a big red mark and lump in the middle

Aside from washing my lucky drawers and watching a marathon showing of How The Lottery Changed My Life on TLC, I am doing my usual purchase of a few extra QPs. I already have my numbers played through a subscription so I will just let lady luck shine on me with the random QPs...and if I feel a particular hunch about a certain string of 6 numbers I might play those as well.

Oh and the cool thing about the marathon showing of HTLCML on TLC is that I was watching with my wife laying on the bed

Not changing anything really. My original plan was to buy a QP at one gas station and a 2nd QP at a different one then buy two more tickets altering/mix the numbers from the first two tickets a bit. Depends if I have time.

That ticket I redeemed and thought I won $3 turned out to be a $12 winner because of the MegaPlier. Neat but I still only bought one ticket in exchange today. We'll see how I feel about buying more tickets in the next two days. Dont wanna go nuts here.

Mega Millions is my game. It's the only one I play every draw. I play my numbers regardless of the jackpot amount. If the jackpot becomes obese (near or over 300) I play my regular numbers, and add another set of my numbers and a quick pick.

I use the same three-ticket play at that level with Powerball and when Lotto Texas goes high (30 million).

I usually buy 1 line with the megaplier. This time 5 lines with the megaplier.

At work I buy tics for a pool of 10 people for either PB or MM, whichever is highest. 10 lines each drawing. We're lucky to win a couple bucks here and there though we did win $100 on PB in January.
