That is the truth. I email the FL lottery quite a bit and it takes on average 5-7 days for a response.

Lately though, it seems they are quicker with a 2-3 day turn around. Same for the website, I noticed things are getting updated sooner than they used to.

I agree.

The only thing is that I have found is, when expecting anything to be done in a timely fashion, it is hard for the

FL lottery webmaster to get it done. I beleive that him/her or they are far over worked.

One would think if that were the case, they would at least change the status of a ticket to Claimed without the name when it is claimed. Otherwise, it is incorrect information.

I believe it is more of a situation where the FL lottery is not required to post the names of people who have won less than $5K or $10K. I can't remember which.

I Guess people are not in Such a Rush to cash in $4,000. I Gurantee you if the Prize was over $50k they would have been cashed in a heartbeat.

Duckman, actually that is very odd indeed. I just checked it as well as I do every day.

Usually you see people claiming the wins within a day or two of the win date. Very strange NONE of the winners from that draw are listed as Claimed yet.

As of this time (3/29 at 11:30am) according to the Florida Lottery website, none of the 47 winners have been claimed. What's odd is that some winners on dates before and after this drawing have been clamied, but all 47 for this drawing date are still marked as Unclaimed at the time ...

What is the daily jackpot for the fantasy 5 in FL? Is it $200k? Because 4500 x 47 = about $211k and last night there were 4 winners at $55k each. If so, that has to be probably the best pick 5 game going especially for the fact that it is MUCH easier to hit a jackpot with numbers from 1-36 than 1-39! In CA here we have a measly 50k jackpot on a 5/39 game

Could be that some of the 47 winners seen that the numbers 10-19 were due to hit 3 of them in a draw so they played only 10-19 numbers to try and win a 3 number cash prize to get some payback..several of them might of hit 4 numbers..or one or 2 might of hit all 5 and are laughing their butts off tonight

EZmatch is such a joke. I played it during their latest promotion and lost on every ticket. I would drop $20 for 10 F5 w/ezmatch and won NOTHING on EZmatch. I don't plan on buying anymore in the future. They just don't seem to payoff. I'd rather put that extra $1 toward another shot at F5... just my opinion.

Hi Sue - I dont play this. I would rather Play 2 Tickets (2 Diffrent Combos). I think the most you can win is $1,000 which is not bad but I have never seen anyone get more than $50. I played it at first a few times and all I got was $2, $5 and $10 Wins. Decided to employ the money on another combination.

Of the 10 tickets I bought, 5 of them were winners. Only small prizes though. Not more than $2 each.

I also learned something about playing Fantasy 5 with ezmatch. I thought ezmatch was like powerball's power play, or mega millions mega plier. I thought it multiplies your non-jackpot winnings. But I was wrong. You have to match the ezmatch numbers with your numbers in order to win the ezmatch prize. I think it's not that good to play with ezmatch b/c you can lose more money that way. I noticed the #s this morning and knew when I clicked on the F5 link it would show a ton of winners. Although each number has the same chance of being drawn, this is the exact reason I avoid all consecutive #'s...Also its been said in the past that 1-2-3-4-5 is the most commonly picked # set. I cant imagine how many people pick that combo.

I Doubt people will stop playing these combinations, which is why I won't play them. They happen very infrequent and when they do hit the payout is usually horrible. Just not worth it in my opinion.

Yep. This just goes to show how consecutive numbers have the same chance at being hit as any other set of numbers. I remember reading some sites where they give tips on how to better your odds and it's almost always mentioned not to play numbers like 1-2-3-4-5 or 11-22-33-44-55 because the odds of that happening are completely outrageous (even though they have the same chance of 1-6-23-38-49).

There's another thread on this, but I want to say that, although no taxes will be withheld, the win will be reported to the IRS since it's over $600. So whether the winner pays now or later, he/she still has to pay the piper. (At least there's no state income tax in Florida.

Its getting Crazy I tell ya. The reason I will never play Consec numbers is because this will happen. How would you feel if you Hit a Fantasy 5 and saw that you won less Money than you had won at Pick 4.

And if 1-2-3-4-5 is ever Drawn - The Payout would be $500.

A game with odds of 1:376,992 to win $4,581.74 is just sickening.

Just my Opinion.
