Yes, it's fine to take as many blank playslips as you need.

Whether or not you're buying tickets at that point doesn't matter.

The playslips could be for someone else for all the retailer knows.

Either way, it's irrelevant, don't even give it a second thought.

That's what the playslips are there for.

Sure take as many as you need.

The people where i play always forget to put more play slips up so i just asked them for a pack of and blank playslips. I got about 500 of each here.

Then when i go back in to play i leave my filled out play slips behind so someone else can play them.

It is ok to take slips. I use to own a shop and sell lotto tickets..

so here is why it is ok to take as many slips that you want..

The lotto company gives the shops a CASE of slips about 5000. And if you need more they bring in another case with no questions..

So its not a big deal... The shops could care less how many you take...

It can take up alot of time waiting for someone to tell the clerk their numbers, fill the slips out.

one store i go to play slips are mandatory,must have been making a lot of mistakes on call bets

Yeah stores don't care so take as many as you need its easier to fill them out at home anyway and less mistakes. i keep a small stock of everythig here in north carolina never know when anumber might pop in your head.

I ALWAYS use the playslips. That way there is no chance of a clerk punching in a wrong # and me losing $$$ because I didn't check the tickets before I left the store. Besides, 30 to 40 is too many to check. So if there is a mistake its all on me.

I once had to put in a special order to get 100,000 slips. The owner did not have that many at his store. It took about a week, but I got them...

Of course you can take slips away as many as you like. I usually keep a couple hundred of 'em. They actually want you to use the slips, it easier for all parties concerned.

In 2005, I did this to research the odds of winning some of the higher-paying Virginia Lottery games.

At one point, I even considered starting a collection of playslips from various states.

I noticed one of the gas stations why I buy tickets started putting their play slips behind the counter so that their customers have to ask the clerks for them. Before when the play slips were on the counter and a game got hot, its play slips would disappear quickly.

I've always wondered where the Australian syndicate that bought all the combos in the Virgina lotto got all the playslips. I'll bet there were a few stores without any playslips.

Blanks or made out, or both?

How often do you find one in a book from one or two matrixes ago?

To show you how backwoods it is here at one of the places we play they have the Mega Millions playslips prior to the Megaplier (Illinois). I ask them to punch the numbers in because those playslips will only print a $1 ticket without the Megaplier.

One clerk told me try marking Promotion . That Promotion was for something quite a while ago.

I don't see why not. I do it all of the time since I buy for myself plus I run a Powerball/Lotto pool at work. I often take a handful of each and nobody says anything about it.

Yeah, don't worry about it, take what you want, you pay for em anyway.

Most people here probably have at least a little stack of playslips for the games they play.

They make good bookmarks too.

Is it OK to take a couple of blank playslips without actually buying a lottery ticket? I prefer to read them and fill them up at home before returning to the store.
