You're guaranteed to match 3 every time you play a 6/49 game if you use the 163 lines wheel mentioned earlier in this thread but playing that many lines for a match 3 isn't practical. If anyone has a way of doing it with fewer lines, they're not sharing it.

I believe that it is not possible to succeed 3 numbers every day. Even neither every week. (Sometimes every 2 or 3 weeks).

In all honesty,as i said before, I do not think you can constantly predict the 6 winning numbers in a pool of 15 numbers.If there was such a system to predict this regularly

True my analysis was only for the last 10 drawings of the local OCL game but as I said the method is fairly easy to check so my results shouldn't stop anyone else from checking their local game using more data.

I am using the information generated by this progam to see the COMPOSITION of the currently DRAWS.For example: look at the quads for example.How many quads are beeing currently drawn in your lottery?In the report above you will see that after 1600 real draws,your combinations should have at least 1

In his page Saliu he says that this information serves as filter for to use with another program, but I dont know as this information is used by you with advantage.

Rather than working with a pool of 15 numbers, you would probably have better luck working with a pool of numbers generated doing the last 15 drawings. In Ohio Classic Lotto, most of its winning numbers have hit at least once in the previous 15 drawings.

Today- after many days without succeeding anything- I have got, with a new method, to succeed 5 (from 6) numbers of a pool of 22 numbers.

What happened?:

0 successes!!!=0 euros

This it is the problem of playing more than 15 numbers. Though you succeed 5 ,or more, numbers, playing only 24 bets, it is very difficult to win.

I ll never play big pools with more than 15 numbers.

Intresting fact on a 6/49 draw

Ball number 1 will appear as the lowest ball on avearge every 8 draws

But ball number 19 will only appear as a 5th ball on avearge every 152 draws

Ball number 49 will appear as the highest ball on avearge every 8 draws

These facts can never change and are based on every ball combination in a 6/49 draw

Your referring to LOWESS predictions if I understand you correctly.

If you picture in your mind the LOWESS curve plotted like a cowboys whip, it flows, depending on the input from the cowboy more or less waves will appear.

When using LOWESS adjust the settings to reduce these waves but not enough to render them useless.

You will see the predictions become tighter giving less numbers to choose from.

In order to pick the winning combination you have to first have a chance to choose it. When you consider 6/49 games have 13,983,816 possible combinations and only 13,796 of them will match 4 or more of the winning numbers then you realize you could evaluate 10,000 combinations and never see a combination that would even matched 4 or more winning numbers.

I have proved your program with a drawing of my lottery 6/49.

The program was offering myself the numbers between a total of 26 numbers.

Example:

Ball 1:Between the numbers 6 to 10

Ball 2:Between the numbers 15 to 20,

Etc.

With this 26 numbers,there were 4 successes. (Which is not bad, but I look more for precision, concerning 15 numbers).

I think that wheeling is worse than filtering.

Wheeling is like to kill flies with cannon-shots. To succeed the correct bet with wheeling, are necessary innumerable bets with useless combinations, which it is very difficult that they go out:

(For example, with all the even or odd numbers, etc.).

For example take line 1

This says ball one appears 1,712,304 times in a 6/49 draw in ball position 1

How would a player apply this information to improve his chances of winning? Matching three is nice but buying 163 lines to do it will put you in the poor house fast unless you match five or better once in a while.

Once you have the 163 lines wheel that guarantee a match 3, I would think one could swap the numbers around such that it has a history of matching more than three often when checked with a particular 649 game.

I know my system does not cover every one of the 18,424 three ball combinations, then thats not what it is designed to do

My system is designed to improve odds of winning and it does that at 100% efficiency always

Tight range with only 4 (number of times each number appears) which is a sign of a good balanced wheel

Range 17 to 21 repeats gives a range of 4

Traditionally, members have been more willing to share ideas about winning number games because they have fixed payouts that aren't effected by the number of winners while jackpot games are pari-mutuel and some fear ideas shared could effect their winnings if they ever work. I personally feel that's unlikely because players aren't likely to come up with the same combinations even if they pick their numbers in similarly ways.

When you place a bet of 6 numbers you cover 20 of them

So (20 / 18,424) * 100 = 0.10855% of the total 3 ball combinations covered with 1 ticket

Now you play 15 numbers, there are 455 possible 3 ball combinations in 15 numbers and there are 18,424 combinations to choose from in the pool of 49

From my experience you're right but the thrill of matching 4 for $70 once in a while wouldn't make up for the disappointments of spending more and winning nothing so many time. Everyone has to find their comfort zone when deciding how much they want to spend/lose playing lotteries and right now that's $10-$20/game for me. That may change in the future depending on my confidence of my chance of winning one of the top prizes.

I match often 4 numbers.Sometimes 5.You say that to cover 15 numbers cost max.18000 combinations.

Apply to these combinations powerfull filtering and you have serious posibilities to suceed 5 numbers with 6 matched numbers, o suceed 6 numbers matching 6 numbers+Complementary.

I am convinced that with 40 numbers is impossible to match 6 numbers with only 13 bets like you do.Maybe I m wrong,but my experience says this.

15-18 numbers only cover 5,005-18,564 of the 13,983,816 combinations of 6 in a pool of 49 numbers which is less than 2% of the possible combinations. You're probably better off picking numbers from the whole pool and using rules you've found to be helpful over the years to eliminate combinations for a better chance at winning a jackpot.

Well, it worked very good!

And even that can be said to be a kind of prediction technique.

My past pick 3 techniques can also be said to be a kind of simulation of random, because they try to mimic how random behaves, but I also call them a prediction and or an educated guess.

Names given to things matter not, as always, results are what counts.

I've given up on trying to predict a random event, what I did was look at the present distribution of the 49 numbers which covered the previous 35 drawings. Those numbers had been distributed similarly 25 times in the previous drawings so I simulated their behavior at those times. One number picked from the previous 2 drawings, a second number picked from the previous 5 drawings, a third number picked from the previous 3-7 drawings and etc. within parameters that covered 95% of all combinations... Hello friends:

I want to say to you that personally I believe that is very difficult to handle more than 15 or 18 numbers.

I believe that with 40 numbers though you succeed 6 numbers, it is very difficult to succeed more of two numbers in the same bet.

A good program where I have hopes is with Skip.exe of Ion Saliu, but still I do not manage to predict less than 20 numbers. Normally approximately 25, and often only I succeed 3 or like more 4 numbers.

I think my chances of getting even a small win with a few static numbers in a limited number of lines are about same as choosing the same number of lines quick pick. Now if I was wheeling and had at least 90% coverage of a match 5 guaranteed, then the results might be better but then I would have to play more than 20 lines and that's the reason I use a dynamic strategy for picking numbers based on their previous behavior. The number of combinations per each sum for jackpot games is almost astronomical, a person can't even play just one sum, unless he or she is very rich and the sum is very low or very high (The ones that might not too often come out).

About not playing All Odds and All Even you are right that those might not on most games come out very often.

Very much more is needed of course, the main thing is to have a small pool of good numbers to play and then their combinations to filter out.... [ More ]

Your chart is interesting but it doesn't address lottohardworker's problem. He wants to pick 15 numbers to use in 24 lines for a 6/49 lottery. I think those parameters are too limiting to expect even a match of 3 very often.

Any lottery. It's multiples of 3 or sum of 0,3,6,9 or numbers ending in 0,3,6,9. 12=3, 13=has a 3 in the tenth column, 42=6 49= has a 9 in the tenth column, etc. It takes decipline and luck to still to just these numbers. Back test it and you will see that the jackpot is there.

You would think with all the 649 lotteries in the world and all the research done on that particular matrix, 649 lotteries would be the easiest to win but they aren't. Ohio has a 649 lottery Classic Lotto that has gone over a year without a jackpot winner. It's now at $37M with a cash value of over $18M so you would think if money and a good strategy could win it someone would have by now. 6/49 is a lot of numbers to deal with. Having select 15 from that can also be tough. If you did selected the winning numbers within the 15, your shot is much greater. To increase the odds of winning often you can try implimenting some of these techniques.

Take 10 previous draw sums and eliminate those. Often times they don't show up for the next draw. Get the sum from your numbers per line, and if they matched up with any of the previous 10 draws then don't play that line. Reslect the numbers... [ More ]

I too have been chasing the jackpots of our local 6/49 game, Classic Lotto and like you I've only matched 3 occasionally. However I've only play 15-20 lines per drawing and tried to cover most of the 49 numbers.

I've found that more than half the times, our winning numbers have come up in the previous 20 drawings, add up to a sum of 86-222 with a range of 18-49. I don't know if this is typical of 6/49 games around the world but some games take on a character of its own regar... [ More ]
