no gambling in utah,there is a town called wendover, that straddles the UT/NV border on I80 ,gambling only in west half thats in NV.thats where slc. people go.

I chose Alabama but was also thinking Mississippi. Can't see Nevada doing one as they have gambling town same with what people are thinking about Utah.

What else is there to do there tho, especially in the winter? Betcha scratch offs would sell like hotcakes.

Idaho only has 1.5 million, and we support Powerball, Megamillions, Hot Lotto, Wild Card 2, and Double Play Daily draw games. There's a whole section of marmots in the SE part of the state whose bishops would be mad if they played, so there's a chunk of the population that doesn't play. Just seems like WY could support one draw game, either one of the big national ones, or Wild Card 2.... [ More ]

Wyoming has less people than any other state in the union with just over a half million.

Now that's a good thing in my opinion but probably not good for running a state lottery.

Some mountain states did this with the Wild Card 2. It's played in Idaho, Montana, and North and South Dakota. I actually thought Wyoming had it too, I was surprised that WY doesn't have a lottery. I bet they have a lot of people crossing the border to play in other states. Wonder why they don't want to keep that money for themselves

I have no idea but I would like to see Alabama get one.

I know some good ol' boys down there that would like that real good.

I don't think democrat Harry (the slimy weasel) Reid would allow one to compete with his union thug supporters in Las Vegas though unless he got paid off under the table real good. (He certainly didn't become a multi-millionaire on his Senator's salary

don't think it's obvious,also utah and hawaii should't even be on the list,nevada could do it, but would have to come up with a game to make ppl. stop buying cali. tickets.miss.is not totally against gambling,they have casinos,but their casinos are restricted to counties along the river and coast i believe.that would make it hard to have lottery which is statewide where available.so i did'nt vote.
